Mine gets delivered in days. Just took out rockers today. Have timing cover laying there, and valve spring tool with air kit coming Wednesday. Hoping to finish myself friday. Not too bad so far. Put headers on last week, im waiting to replace almost now. Im excited for this cam.

Thanks for another fantastic video, you guys do amazing work. Do you know if this cam will work in a VVT deleted L92 6.2l out a 2008 Escalade with sufficient piston to valve clearance?
There are two bronze bushing kits, white box and black box. let us know which ones it is y'all are talking about when you say they cant handle the pressure. id assume its the white box bc theyre cheaper of the two last i checked. otherwise this car looks just like mine.
What other mods you got? I have a G8 as well but it’s an LS3 and not an L76. Think I’m gonna do 1 7/8” Kooks catless headers, 3” solo cyclone exhaust, rotofab intake, 3.45 LSD, and the BTR red hot cam. If I get 450whp with that setup I’ll be a happy camper
@@Tanner_Teves btr red hot cam, Speed engineering headers and x pipe, to 3” corsa, rotofab, ls7 maf, 1000cc injectors, dw300 pump, thats pretty much it. Stock intake/TB and other than the typical supporting mods for cam like springs, pushrods, trunion. Made 473 on a mustang dyno. Shop said it was still making power at 6k rpm but they couldn’t figure out how to raise rev limiter to 7k
Yes sir. .035 with a .051 gasket will clear the flat tops. We are going to do some valve drop calcs and see if we can do .035 with an .040 gasket. Of course on the L99 cars, you have plenty of room with the reliefs.
@@nufnuffz28Thinking of the Redhot after all the reviews. Currently on a gpi SS3, but low end is rough. Sbe LS3 w 3.91s and ported heads. What is a safe mill to get to about 11:4 compression and with 11 degree heads(avoid flycut) might this hit 500whp with better driveability?

Every set we have seen wear over timez especially with the added pressure of an aftermarket cam
Is the red hot cam really that good ? Debating on putting it n a 6.0 swapped obs and later down the line procharge it
We have honestly had GREAT luck with it

Why did you go with the redhot over the stage 3? What’s the benefit/ difference?
The new Stage 2 V2 really shines in most applications, including over the Stage 3!
Are yall using the red hot cam with stock torque converter?
We tru to have some stall or a straight drive with the Redhot. We like the BTR 1 V2 for stock stall stuff
Do you need stall with that cam or factory star is good
Highly recommend a stall converter with this cam!
