God bless and do be safe cutting down trees and I have you all in my prayers and all the big truck drivers who pull logs to the sawmill God bless and do be safe
Love that diesel sound!!!!
Never a more true statement has been said than to watch out for a kickback while topping a tree had a white oak about 30 inches kick me back while running a husqvarna 51 years ago ended up with 150 stitches inside and out on my leg fillet it open clean to the bone now have scar of 9 inch smiling face on left leg your a good man for preaching safety best part is had I not worked timber all the time my saw would have been dull and probably lost my leg dr. Said with it being sharp was what kept my leg made his job easy was a clean cut missed main artery by 1/2 inch keep up good work
Keep laying down those “sticks” with “pudding “, ThankYou for everything, we’re done In Tennessee & headed to Texas, Uncle Tony says he’s got some great pictures to send you of The Smoky Mountains Forestry & Marble/Granite Quarries Love Y’all ! ❤️
Tell Roger my Dad worked on a chicken farm growing up and would never eat them nasty things!
Thanks for the great hand cutting vidja...I have also been missing them! Rumor has it...Tator n Pudding will be on Dancing with the Stars next season!😯
You exactly right about that walnut dust. Even after it dries. Get it on sweaty skin and it’s almost like poison ivy.
Whatever lol yeah another fantastic video. When I retire I'm going to spend some of my time going back through wades videos this man is compulsory viewing and videos with Rodger makes them even better what a great guy to have on your crew I'd have him on the farm any day of the week. Think I've got to get some wade stickers for our tractors and my chainsaw hat.. Already waiting for the next one. Keep safe in those woods guys. Regards to the family and crew from across the pond
Glad you an puddin' are on speakin' terms again. She sounds happy to be in her pappy's hands again doin' work
Hell yeah rodgie!!! I like the way you think lol !

Tater and puddin.. helluva duo...great to see ya Wade!!!!!👍👊💚🌳💚🌳💚🌳💚🌳
Morning Wade, I didn't realize that southern part of the state got that much rain in August. Here in Rush county, been so long that when it rained last night, we were all cheering, lol
You love them low rakers!
A thought for Puddin's fuel tray. Take couple of decent magnets and attach them to Brutus(or the tray), either on the back, the side or the underneath where the tray sits right now. That way something is holding it in place but it is easy to remove. Maybe a couple of the magnets you use for the camera mounts might work. Good vids.
Man puddin is rippin she is, sounds like Angel's singin wade great vidja Wade stay safe stay sharp over and out in gone
Morning Wade. Thanks for the laugh ( not the first garage I've crushed) . Pudding is sounding great. Take care and be careful.
That a boy Wade , you know what they say in the sawmill you want to cut chips not make dust . puddin looked like it was putting out some nice looking chips.
Peace&love from

HEY MOMMA, THAT PIGGY'S ON THE SPIT lol,( Tater's sweating like a good un ). Good vidja Wade
Back in the groove Wade
We'll take all the rain you don't want, we are so gawddamn dry it is not even funny.........the dust is getting deep here in western South Dakota!!! Had a fire yesterday about 50 miles to the northwest, looked like the apocalypse, some (light) rain come thru with a lot of wind and helped the small band of fire crews. The fire was actually in Montana about 16 miles south of Ekalaka. (prairie fire) They were diggin' in a water line and hit a rock........
WOWZERS! Ya know it's dry when a fire is started from that scenario!
Great job Wade !!! Hey you look mighty buff without a shirt on. Wade for president !!!!! You son of a peanut farmer !!!!! Lol
It must be nice to never have to cut pecker poles. Nice looking wood. Thanks for the video Mr Wade.
Topping is a tricky business all right. Even on flat ground it has its challengers. I was cutting a 12 limb off a big standing pine for a farmer friend to clear so his tractor could get by the edge of his wheat field. I was on the top of a ladder and could just reach over and cut down. My mistake was I did not check the bottom with an undercut. I cut this limb and I expected it to crack off and fly to the ground. Well it just pivoted down, hit the ground and then came back about 8 feet behind the ladder. Luckily it hit a wrist sized limb just above the top of the ladder and deflected just enough not to collect me. My son got it on camera and its is scary watching. Lesson learned. I took this knowledge some years later to a job and was part way up another big pine and had to take a big limb off the side to get it to drop where i wanted it. I cut a scarf underneath and then cut it from the top expecting it to pop off. I was leaning out with my pelvis jambed into the trunk of this big tree, infact resting on a round butt of a small limb I had previously cut. When the branch cracked off there was so much stress on the trunk, it sprung back against me and pounded straight into my pelvis. Did it hurt. Yes, cutting is a buzz(no pun intended) Stay safe boys.
👍
I agree with ya topping is the most dangerous scares the crap out of me sometimes
God bless and be safe I have you all in my prayers God bless and be safe I want to say and I know you all have a dangerous job logging and driving big log trucks that is why I want to thank you and thank God for looking out for you all so much
Put a shirt on tuff guy!
Old number #1 salute to the tree! Don't mess with Puddin and the Tater! Puddin is just gonna send it like Larry Enticer! Sounds like R Lee Ermey.... any time sweetheart! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That first walnut had quite the boogie hanging on the down hill side lol
At least that bottom log on that 11 minute Walnut needs to go to a live-edge guy
I tell what else hurts , saw dust from phone poles when your sweating ,that dust will burn like crazy ,so bad I had to jump in the river to wash it off lol, thank god the river was close lmao
37:53 the "I am climbing a steep hill and tired" laugh
when you was talking about the chainsaw being part of your body that's the first time I have ever herd any one talk it like it is thats 100% the truth I'm 49 cut timber in the mountains I. Tenn and nc my hole life 4th generation logger
Morning tater
What a great video. I was wondering if you were going to run over the bin for your gas and oil. Great cutting. Stay safe
August???? You must have one heck of a back log of video man
Good stuff Wade, isn't it a small bit that can hold a tree up, be careful out there man:):)
10-4 driver. Tell puddin to keep sendin it.
I had a barber chair when I was younger and dumber and I booked it. My foot caught on a limb under the snow that I hadn't seen and I twisted around and had that saw hit me square in the chest and take the wind out of me as the butt of that sugar maple damn near crushed me. Sure know what your saying but sometimes its fun to think back on all the times you almost bit it.
Yup thats a scary situation to be caught in
you're a nickel holding up a dollar tater lets go!
It's a nice day out to log an't it
I think to be a good logger u got to do all the jobs. Like running skidder and be a limb trimmer and faller. That way you can understand the fusteration of each job.
@Logger wade what is the reason for bore cutting verses cutting from back side into curf
weeeeeeeeeeeee
Gettin back on that game tater
I thought only men with chest hair were allowed to go shirtless, you have given me the confidence to bear my smooth chest for the world to see.
Send your rain up to Maine!!!!!
We sure as hell could use some!
Joe Davidson I guess the hell!! Skowhegan here bud where ya at!!
Down in Lubec. We have finally gotten some since this post. Could use a bit more tho, but it will be snow before long
Joe Davidson bring on the snow!!!!lol
Skowhegan
You think you could do a demo in bore cutting? I’m fall trees on the west coast but we have oaks and madrone and I’m having trouble with kick backs when I do try and bore cut.
Topping a tree that is under pressure is the scariest for me you definitely have to know what you doing
Mike McCoy said you was good people so I thought I'd check out your videos or videeees.
Do you hand cut all the grade timber?
Had a oak tree roll and hit me be low my eye ,took 12 stitches to sew it up
Id sure wish you keep both hands on that saw at all times. The kick back you don't expect could hurt you and id hate to see that happen to you buddy
Mornin from Eastern Ohio. How’d ya get your start in loggin. Keep on keepin on.
Family owned business. Good Morning!
Wade do you run skip tooth chains?
U can take The Hall of Walnut take a 5 gallon bucket of water put a bunch of the holes in the water let it soak for overnight you can take that water and dump some on the ground worms will come straight up out of the ground
Wade your cutting vids is what got me watching you all those years ago. Good to see you slinging em. Be safe buddy!
DOC SAYS I Got a fatty liver now...🤔 im gonna need your puddin and your skills to cut.My bar on my 500i nor 462 is long enough to reach the fat on my liver...No more scotch for my saws nor me...and I thought high quality fuel was good.. darn thinkin ! (Stay safe 🤠)
Actually I to thought it was the thunder....... (not the fuel...)lol
If I was 250 instead of 150 o would run a 395 too
When it rains it pours, you might need to chain up one skidder Bec I know you can't stop
Pudden is one saw that sucker stays runing they make good big bore kits if you ever blow her up iv got a 385 with 395 top and that thing is nasty
Got ya ive been eyeballing one 68MM sound right!
That was posed to be a question lol
What song is the intro Id like to hear more
Just curious How come you wear a green hardhat only greenhorns wear green hats here where I'm from ?
❤ your videos and you have not been making new videos for awhile now when are you going to more from you ❤an peace
Sup wade?
Drags a little short??
U are a professional but u need to put a pair of saw safety pants on safety is important
24:56 can see daylight
You didn't say whether that dirt left a bad taste in you're mouth or not. I've eat several mouthful's of Alabama dirt and always had a bad taste in my mouth .
Wade might write up a checklist of handy hints, if there is another extended break in the hand tree falling. TR 30 mechanical felling wedge with battery impact, felling spruce in Scotland. czcams.com/video/ZLqxmzD0a5s/video.html
