That's why I sold the Grille and got back to WT. Also, lack of fully traversibl turret and EBRs that were penning me with HE every time in full speed, when I missed them or hit their superarmored wheels for 0 dmg.

That WT had a very fast reload for a derp gun after he hit you for 420dmg.

I think with HP that he was in he has adrenaline rush. That perk could be the difference between life and death (he would have won if he penned the first shot)
Adrenaline rush most likely kicked in, so his reload should have been around 12 seconds at that time.
I agree with skill that there's good reason to say that this tier 9 WT is actually better than its supposedly better tier 10 counterpart. In addition to the video, the gold APCR rounds of this WT have not only 352mm pen, you get 1500m/s shell velocity on top of that, just savage!
Meanwhile Grille is sitting there with its sad 340mm 900m/s HEAT shells.

Literally this tech tree, the top tier is at Tier 9 for sure. Tier 10 Grille feels like a tier 9.25 vehicle in all honesty.
9.25? 8.75 at best… Same gold pen as the tier 8, but worse flexibility and big AF… One shot and your camo drop to zero… Its so fucking awful

I have played this tank too very much though I use the 150mm gun. It got some punch and it isnt unaccurate gun either! But this tank is one of the most epic snipers in game for sure.

I have Waffletractor, and Grille15. I enjoy the Waffletractor *much* more.
With field mods, I have accuracy on the WT down to .26, and I don't know why it hits far more reliably than the Grille 15 (currently at .24, but no field mods yet). Also, the gold pen goes *down* when you get to Grille (352mm on WT vs 334mm on Grille) and the gold shell velocity drops by 600m/s. I admit that the Grille is a little faster in a straight line, but it has awful terrain resistances (4.17 on soft - no, that's not a typo; it's almost twice as bad as the Tortoise), so the mobility difference is not nearly so much as WG would have you think.
Then there's the Godawful camo rating. I kid you not - the T95 'doom turtle' has almost three times the base camo rating (Grille 7.87% vs T95 18.18%). But unlike the T95, you have no armour to take the hits when you get spotted. You have to do all your fighting in the narrow band between 445m max spotting and 560m max render. And because your gun can only traverse 50 degrees, you have to face the enemy to shoot, and often you're spotted by the Manticore with CVS. Then you have to use your awful mobility to back up slowly into cover with your 20mm 'armour' turret sticking up, which is taller than the T95. It's either that, or turn around to scoot at a traverse speed at about 15 degrees per second, unless you're actually on a road.
It's possible to have good games in it - I'm really crap, but I've had a few 5k+ games, but it's just so much harder, and not nearly as much fun as the WT.
I should have stopped at Tier 9.

Having seen this video I re- bought the Wafflecock and I absolutely love it!! Definitely way better than the Grille 15!! As it's way more flexible as it has a full rotatable turret and it's Matchmaking!! Love the shell velocity and gun handling!! God like indeed!

Optics is better option it have only 370M.
This tank without optics is not great
If you are using that setup, might as well load the 150 gun and going full combat waffle. 150 is much lighter which makes your tank faster, and 750 damage is great for brawling

The reason I don't usually run the optics (it's my 2nd equipment setup) is because there are almost always other tanks spotting. Sucks if you're one of the last few tanks left alive, and I get less spotting for myself, but usually pays off
@@zeroyuki92 the 128mm handles significantly better (0.04 better dispersion, 0.39 aim time advantage, 0.03 turret bloom), while also actually having 300 more DPM
the penetration and velocity advantage are a quite significant advantage at all ranges over the 150
+190 alpha isn't that much of an advantage for close range - 128mm is actually kinda better at close range, which is..Weird.

It'sa shame Grille 15 is not more like WT PZIV. Give Grille 15 some camo and a fully traversable turret and nerf the speed a bit. Then it would be more in line with the line (pun intended) and probably better overall. Maybe also make the 12.8 available for the Grille?

I can understand Grille 15 might be a disappointment for many people, because of the camo value and the lack of flexibility with turret traverse limit, but treat yourself and grind one of those rare enjoyable lines, even if you stop to that tier IX beauty.

Grille did behave like the pzIV, then WG nerfed the dispersion, pretty much destroyed it imo.
Hii skieell, I am a loyal viewer of all ur YT vids for several years. Sadly I dont have enough time to watch stream too but I hope I am worthy of the Great Baboon Empire. Just a tip for ur YT channels. Now that u have several channels, I noticed that u get way less views on skill extra an maybe even main channel. This makes sense cuz now people might need to switch between channels to watch vid. I know it is a experiment but maybe it is way more effective to have all game content on 1 channel and simply make separate playlists for higher and lowers tier gameplay +playlist for stream highlights. Maybe u dont like the idea but to me, it would make lots of sense + it would make ur channel less messy cuz then all people need to do is search in playlist for their fav. gameplay. I mean, Imo making playlists would make ur channel way more accessible when people are searching/scrolling through your vids if u know what I mean.

Grille also has realy bad cammo valeues, unlike Pz IV. Pz IV has much better DPM even with 15cm is better and gun handling as well

With food + skill's crew he is getting well above max view range even without binos. Might as well have optics so you can turn the tank around.
This td is absolutely brutal. The 12.8 cm gun is a monster. Grille is a downgrade, the 150cm gun sucks, Grille should have this gun with better dpm, simple as that.
Factor in that the gun is limited to like 45-50 degrees and WG nerfed the soft stats. If only the Grille 15 has a fully traversed gun and WG didn't nerfed it.
@@sakamoto8354 I guess they didn't like the fact the tier 8 and 9 as well as the legendary WT Auf E-100 had fully rotatable turret, which is stupid because the Skorpion G also has that feature with more speed. I play the WT Pz IV with Turbo and it's honestly a bliss and I'm seriously considering playing Ranked just to slap the bond Turbo on it instead of the regular Turbo. Grille has horrific stats and when people try to snapshot at me with the Grille I usually get messages like 'lucky' and 'buy more lottery tickets' and stuff and I simply laugh at them because they ignore the terrible soft stats that td has.
This tank hits waay better than grille's '0.26 Accuracy gun'

There's nothing to understand. The best way to play stock T-34-2 is to not play it at all.

@@biggedi8095 Gold ammo and flanking whenever possible. Also avoid brawls with other T8 Meds until you have the top gun. Try to snipe if the accuracy allows it and stay in the background as lowtier. Pick up low HP targets and run back for the hills after it.

I want WT auf E100 back. Grille 15 is just a big paper shittank. WT auf E100 wouldn't even that OP nowadays. It was only so good because most of the players back then did not know how to play this game and it had 6 shots. Just nerf it to 4 shots magazine with 560 dmg (2240 dmg in 8 sec) and like 35 sec reload. We have currently Foch B in the game with 2400 dmg in 12 sec. This would be perfectly fine in my oppinion.

This TD has some gun depression issues but the Gun is absolutely amazing, Wafflecock drivers snipe away!
That's why you turn around and face with the butt, you get more gun depression that way, something lots of players ignore. This thing has laser like accuracy, it can and it hits cupolas at 500 meters which is simply brutal.

@@brianonion8155 I think it was like 3 extra degrees of gun depresion reversing this td. It's absolutely incredible, I honestly am considering to buy it again and remove the crew from the Grille to the WT, I don't really see an upgrade in performance. Grille's gun is simply too inaccurate.

I love going against this tree of tanks because HE can pen them so easily. Sneaking up in a Borrat and putting 900+ damage into them in 2 seconds is SO satisfying. Much easier now with the enhanced intuition. Also, that was a real nail-biter of a first game.

at the shot on strv 1 and emil 2 u see the rng working! these shots never hits often!! in case of strv its looks like the bullet change the direction while flying!
