- Well sports fans the return of the insane Ft William (FT Bill ) world cup is just around the corner and she's gonna be a doozy so we head up to get some pre race training laps in!
Lada man, Barney and Boris come along in support and we bang some hard laps...your old fave Danny Hart even makes a brief a appearance.

Another awesome vid bk although not sure someone that owns 3 dogs, multiple old fuel guzzling vehicles and runs a team that drives an old American school bus across Europe takes multiple long haul flights and promotes carbon Framed bikes is in a position to grief the nevis range for their disposable food containers which are probably made from recycled materials and are then recycled themselves. I could be wrong but pretty sure this is a cleaner option than running an industrial dishwasher to clean reusable crockery.😆 but keep the mtb content coming it's class 👌

Amazing video but the adelphi is the only hotel I have ever refused to stay in. Absolutely disgusting place.
4 mins 44s sprint lap time. Fort Bill is so so long, and you don't realise just how rough and steep it is until you actually go there. It's crazy, I wouldn't even get as far as the boardwalk before wimping out for it being too steep for me, and that bit looks one of the flatter sections on camera!
Had the exact same gripe at Glentress regarding plastic cutlery and polystyrene!
Good effort calling that cafe out, they seem to be too lazy to wash up. I bet most customers would step up if they had a sink...

I saw a few places on the 1st section of Track where they didn’t place rocks on it. 😟No clean lines, just the lesser of several evils. 🙆🏻♂️

Hey Bernard, how much does the top section of fort william actually change? I've been watching WCs for years, and other than weather it always LOOKS the same. But do the rocks move and stuff and change the best lines? I would guess you know the top section incredibly well, and it always surprises me to see the track walk sections.
Top section is very consistent, usually changes are from build crew rather than moving from riding, small stuff like corners being built up and such is common but they generally leave all the race lines and fun section as they are
Magic as usual, I still think you are slightly too stiff in suspension. I feel like many riders opt for super stiff suspension, but it always looks like the top riders have their suspension opened up, it could be line choice etc…But loic and loris look so plush and soft. I think that is why you nail Hardline because everyone has to open up suspension for the crazy jumps but it is super rocky like Fart William.

Thats the problem at high speeds there is a few big compressions on the track so you have to have your suspension stiffer so you dont crumple through them and lose more time than having slightly more plush and reactive suspension over the rest of the track, its a trade off either way and some folk prefer one over the other

Let me clear up first i am 1million percent in no way an authority in line choice at fort william for a world cup race 😂 but i had heard another british world cup racer say roughly “fort william never changes and its very much a one line only race and line choice is practically none existent and doesnt change year upon year.” Is that correct?

With the disposable crockery the lifetime assessment can make them greener - I am in support of reusing everything but for businesses who are green oriented it isn’t always so simple if they are informed.
