Chris from Holeyboard is hands down the nicest dude. Amazing product & support!
I bought a Holeyboard a few years ago based on Phil's recommendation. I love it! I will probably buy another for my son in a few months. Great boards!! The owner is fantastic and responds personally to all your emails. Love it!
Man! This takes me back to your original Holeyboard video! Weirdly, I can still remember exactly where I was when I watched it.
Love the HoleyBoard. Still have the original wood one. Painted it a few times. Love this new one. Purchased it on Black Friday and it came just in time for the pandemic (end of Feb/Mar)! A lot of fun to setup, easy change out and just a solid design. Amazing board.
Got mine today too....awesome board. Ordered it with the extra volume/wah module. Also got a coupon and with shipping total was only $238:)
Even if my pedals can fit just in the plates, I see the cool value in the idea. Specially as someone's first board that can grow with their collection and/or needs
Hey Phil, Thank you for your video. This really helped me decide to go ahead and get one from Chris. It just shipped today! Looking forward to getting it and solving most of my pedal problems. Thanks again!!
thanks for the video, I wasn't sold on the all aluminum one, I LOVED my old wooden skateboard top holeyboard, but NOW I see why he changed to it, so flex-able, i really have to work to squeeze all 13 pedals on one board.
I like the way these guys think. I had the previous version and found two challenges with it. It’s heavier than an equivalent PedalTrain and it’s really hard to find a carrying case. Their metal is much thicker than maybe it needs to be. Just heard you say they have carrying cases. Will have to check them out again if they have distribution in Canada now.
The “1 2 3 Combo” typically comes with just ONE of the wah pedal sized modules, but you have two of them. Why is that?
I looked at the original Holy Board a few years ago and thought it was a great idea...but I never pulled the trigger on one. My favorite part of it is the pedals are fastened with zip ties...NO velcro. Now the HB guys have really evolved it into what looks to be a fantastic system. I'm just an amateur player but I think it's time to look at them again. Nice job Phil.
That definitely is functional and usable. Love the look of it also.
Holy Holeyboard, this is nice!
Super versatile board right there. Thanks for sharing! 💯
Really nice demo on this Board.
Cool board. I like the fact you can also use the two wings for a small board as well. Looks like I've found another board for my wish list.
this is a really cool board. I thinking of picking one up. I'm pretty sure I can fit all my pedals on just the main platform without any extension pieces too
Nice website. great product . I've been wanting to design this for me and now I see someone already has
I feel like this will be hard to improve on.
Great video Thanks Philip
Got mine 6 months ago. In 30 years it’s the best board so far
Wow, this is something to look into. Great video.
That's actually a great idea! WTG Holyboard! Reasonably priced also!
The flexibility to expand or contract the board according to your needs is an awesome feature to the Holyboard 1,2,3 Pedalboard System.
Thank you Phil for the video review. This looks like the answer to my frustrations. Been a velcro board user for many years starting with making my own boards; the biggest frustrations for me is opening the board case to find velcro didn't hold that well and some pedals have fallen off, or in summer the velcro glue melts and so the strip comes off of the pedal and again the pedal falls off the board during transport. Wah pedals I'd have to take the rubber feet off and jerry-rig the bottom plate to the pedal frame in order to velcro the bottom plate to the board. And where to put the power supply and secure it has always been an issue. From this video and the ones the inventor has made, it appears those problems are solved!
It would be nice to see a road case available in addition to the cloth bag option. Perhaps in sizes S, M, L with foam to make cuts in for a snug fit of your customized board.
After hating using velcro with my Pedaltrain, I ordered a new Holyboard as I like the layout better.
Great idea. Not in the market for a new board, but now I want to be.
Cool pedal board I own the dragonfly great pedal board love it.
Bro Phill is like my personal tech now I don’t need any other tech to help me except phill
I was going to get the DAdarrio Expandable until I saw this. Actually having 2 pedal boards in one or one wide one combined with zip ties was a no brainer.
do they make a flight case for it?
Wow! I am the first comment at a Phil VIdeo? My man, this is my biggest accomplishment!
Don't celebrate just yet lol
Alright, I like the design, think I'm going to have to try it. I hate the idea of zipties though, but I also hate using velcro too bc its not very secure, so Ive started using a little dab of silicone adhesive to mount my pedals. It's extremely secure, easy to remove, and doesn't ruin the pedals
I have four different Holeyboards and have toured with one for years. Before Holeyboard I was making my own zip tie based boards out of HDPE. The aluminum Holeyboard is way lighter though. I switched to zip ties from Velcro sometime around mid 90s......and will never go back.
Sounds great! Would be happy to switch from my over-expensive Temple Audio with the plate system to this simpler yet ergonomic concept!
I wanna get one of these.
Like it , super creative.👍
That definitely is a cool pedalboard!!
Looks awesome but what about a case. Gotta transport and the lack of a safe case seems like a deal breaker.
this box is pretty small but i think what's inside it is pretty big! that's what she said lol, great video Phil
All my questions answered. Thanx Phillip. I check if someone sells them in Australia.
He doesn't have overseas distributors yet, but he ships internationally if you visit his site or email him.
Love mine
Love this pedalboard but I'm looking for a clever way to attach an HX Stomp without zip ties or velcro. Thx
When you step on the top tier does the board tip back and lift the front off the floor? Does it "rock" not in a good way?
Looks like there will be two feet supporting the flexible bit holding the silver and black plates together. How often will you break those feet?
The breaking glass lol
Cool idea! Unfortunately, I have the most ridiculously sized overdrive pedal ever (Behringer VT999), so I'll probably stick with my current homemade board, but if I ever decided to build a second, smaller board, maybe for just jamming with friends with just one amp, this would be a great way to do it.
great idea ......
Very cool
I was born on the same block of "Erector Square" where the original Erector Sets were made. This board certainly does seem "Erector" inspired.
I wish I could have a pedalboard like that. 😮
45 seconds in and im intrigued
Great for people with expensive speciality pedals that they don’t want to muck up with Velcro or grip tape
I really like this pedalboard I own a zig zag, the only problem is that you are conditioned to the position of the holes to put the zip ties through to secure you pedals, so you can't use the full space of the board, but still is a great idea and I use it as my second pedalboard.
This new board was specifically designed with smaller holes and spacing to allow more versatility in where you place the pedal. I own both models and had the same issue with the zigzag, but not so much with the new design.
Do you top mount the power supply, or is there a bracket to mount underneath?
You can do both
Phil, They make a tool for tightening Zip Ties, I've a friend with one and it's nice to sinch them down... I'd never seen one untill his.
The tool not only tightens but clips off excess too with a cut that doesn’t leave a sharp edge. Well worth it
Who makes it?
The tool you're referring to is called a panduit gun!
OtherTheDave there are many. Google zip tie guns. Not all clip though. I got from work. Very expensive one but it’s industrial grade

Hey Phil or anyone else , I've found a couple Geiger custom made guitars made by Mark Geiger....does anyone know anything about them ? Thanks
You should ask Holyboards if they can make you a bigger work table lol
Phil!! What's that T-style guitar in the blue flake finish up on the left? Don't think I've seen it before. I refinished one of my Tele's in a flake just about the same exact color. :)
Hi George it is a G&L ASAT in Flake finish
Does anyone know anything about fender hm 2x12 cab ?
I have a EBMM Hunter Hayes Cutlass and would like Duncan SHPR-1 (P rails) in the bridge. I have the pickup and triple shot. I need a HSS pickguard ($45 from EBMM)...can/will you do the install? I can mail stock pickguard (w/ electronics) and new stuff to you. Let me know, please
Btw-I bought the EBMM over a PRS based on something that you recommended...& the fact that I have a S2.
I just got the set, and yours looks way bigger. Maybe it's the camera angle. The bottom part on mine is a little over 7 inches deep. It's way too small.
Can't attach any pieces on the top and bottom?
you need to update the pic in the contest site phil!!!!
Can you get just one color?
I've been using them for years.... still have my wood one.
Now all it needs it’s an expandable box!
Or does it have a box?
LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN! ***HELP PLEASE!!!*** Hey Phil! I have an "Epiphone Les Paul Special" that I'm having a hell of a time trying to set the intonation on, on the high E it won't set at all! In your opinion, what do you think would be the cause? Thanks!
Not enough info. to go on. What bridge--tunomatic, or wraparound? Is the high E intonation sharp or flat? If tunomatic you may need to flip the high E saddle around. If wraparound, you may need to adjust the set screw on the treble side in or out. Also, look at the bridge posts: do they lean significantly? If so, then the High E string might be missing the raised "saddle" on the bridge altogether. In that case you'll need to fix or have the leaning posts fixed. I had a 1960's Epiphone Coronet with a wraparound bridge that had actually twisted where it mounts to the post. I had to replace the bridge. In my case I used a Schaller "Badass" style replacement bridge.
Ever watch his videos with people asking questions live? A couple episodes ago he explained that concept/predicament. Go to the details of each video and he time stamps the questions. I’m not gonna do the searching for you, but now you know where to look 😉👍🏻
@@NoelHaven That's Bullshit! I've gone through over 8 months of Q&A's and didn't find anything that related to my question! My question is very specific and shotgunning it with 100 hrs of nonsense doesn't solve a damned thing! And by the way, I asked him not you! Why in the fuck do I always get someone else other than the person I'm addressing? DAMMIT!
I don’t like the center piece being modular. If I could buy a bigger piece and mount the side pieces as I need them, I’d like that better.
can you make a video for amps that are made in europe? thanks...
oh my god that is *just* what i fucking needed..
Great system. DO you think it would look good with my giant rats nest of pedals, cables, power leads and random crap piled onto it ?
Get the black one. That's what I did. The mess stands out less.
I wish you could still get the dragonfly design. I preferred the way it curved much more than this design.
I have the Dragonfly, but I think I want this newer version.
“As seen on TV”. You are missing your calling lol. I am looking at this too yesterday. Timely video. Thanks Google spyware.
Uh - bag/case?
If I used pedals I would be all over this.
Lego for guitarists and bassists
You look like a cooking show, lol
Cooking with Phil. Could be a thing. Lol
😂 he had one ready to go in the oven
Would be nice if they add the size in metric anywhere on the website. I assume they would like to sell some outside of the US. I can do the conversion myself but it’s just more customer friendly to provide it. I put it on my reverb watch list as a late night impuls buy present for myself :)
Guess what???
I was shopping for a pedal board
Am I the only one who is bothered by the fact that he did not line up the cable holes when he connected the two boards? I'm pretty sure it's not me just being OCD, as lining up these cable openings correctly would probably ensure that cords and cables run freely and are not forced in. ...Or maybe it is my OCD.
I am early
The case is way overpr8ced. Damn that's insane. I can get a military grade back pack gator like case for $50 that would fit thay thing. I'm so sick of gouging. J may not be able to participate with this or any company for a while. I'm good with sued market and paying literally1/100 for a brand new item, because thays what it's actually worth.
Why in the world would they not have it all one color? Looks like crap bring two differnt colors
You can order it anyway you want.
@@PhillipMcKnight ah, good to know, thanks! Ill be getting one soon!
