Did you have to stop it five million times? I know you have to cause of YT but you butchered it to a point you didn't get to enjoy it, and neither did we.

Martina McBride-Concrete Angel
Damn bruv😂 We been hitting that long.. From a k to 83..
Will you please do Jeff Carson the car official video I think this will bring you into a country music feeling
hi sir. please react to when it rains it pours by luke combs..
Not only is that Ricky Schroder of Silver Spoons, but the boy and girl at the funeral are his kids!
They look just like him.
And the woman is his wife 😎
And he directed the video.
Thought so
He also donated to Kyle rittenhouse (sp?) I love this vid but from what I have read he sucks... love the vid tho.
Alison Krauss is not the actress she's a singer with a beautiful voice.
And one of the best bluegrass fiddle players around!
Lol homeboy had no idea. He was just talking to hear his head rattle.
If van wants to hear the most beautiful song in the world it's Alison krauss performing (when you say nothing at All) he probably won't see this comment as it's a year after he posted this video
Krauss is said kind of like saur kraut
Krauss is said Krau-ss not cross.
She is the singer and violinist/ fiddle player.
Welcome to COUNTRY MUSIC!! Alison Krauss has the most angelic voice I've ever heard.
"UNTIL THE NIGHT, SHE PUT THAT BOTTLE TO HER HEAD AND PULLED THE TRIGGER,FINALLY DRINK AWAY HIS MEMORY , LIFE IS SHORT BUT THIS WAS BIGGER.." MAKES ME CRY
This whole damn song is hard to listen to. There is no hiding the whiskey. I feel the best on whiskey. This song hits harder. No amount of whiskey will make me cry. 2:30 minutes in this song 12:00 minutes here, I start fighting it.
It pulls memories I have that got me more whiskey. Am I sad about her or losing the ability to walk. Memories on my feet. Just a memory.
The tragic outcome makes the bus driver's words of encouragement to "Go and start your life, son" bitterly ironic.
Exactly...so bitter sweet.
Need to realize that there are ppl out there that go through this and dont get recognized... these songs need to be writing cause this is real life!!
Brad Paisley has a video with Andy Griffith called “Waitin’ On A Woman” and another great collaboration with Keith Urban called “Start A Band” and they both really shred their guitars 🎸 😎☮️
He's a pretty good metal guitarist too, but he realized there was more money in country.
Allison Krause has an absolutely beautiful voice. You should definitely listen to more of her music
For Allison - You say it best when you say nothing at all.
I appreciate the levity because this is a hard song. I wish I could just listen for its beauty but it just makes me cry every time. Allison has a legendary bluegrass voice.
Me too.
There's not a song in the world that brutalizes me like this one. Every time. I can't listen to it often.
Brad is one of the best storytellers. He grew up local to me. I am not a country music fan, but I love all of Brad's songs. From heart felt to funny songs, he always brings his best! Fantastic guitar players. Try "Waitin on a woman," "He didn't have to be." "When I get where I'm going," "Welcome to the future," and his funny "I'm gonna miss her" and "Celebrity"
I never really noticed how profound it is that his note said "I'll love her 'til I die." A direct reference to the George Jones song, I assume?
“Long black train” by Josh Turner if you want a nice deep voice.
I came here to say this.
Any Barry White song.
😍
Or anything by Randy Travis.
Agreed, most beautiful deep vocal range. ♥️
Alison has an amazing voice. You should look up her version of When You Say Nothing At All, or any of her bluegrass stuff :)
Yes great song
She had some songs on "O Brother Where Art Thou"
When you say nothing at all is my favorite song of hers. ❤️
If he is going to listen to When you say nothing at all, he should stick with the original. She has plenty of beautiful songs of her own.
I Love Alison Krause, also. I used to have a CD of her & Robert Plant. :)
I love your honest appreciation of their talent and not dismissing this because of its genre. Thank you for that.
BEST LINE EVER!!! She put him out like the burning end of a midnight cigarette.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing baritone voice is Trace Adkins. Please give him a listen. I recommend the song Arlington.
Three wooden crosses by Randy Travis. That song moves something in me every time i hear it.
I must have heard that song a dozen times before the words really hit me and what the song was about
I grew up listening to that song it's so beautifully sad
Yup and dont forget Run by George Strait good shit
Brad Paisley - she's everything
This might be the best whiskey lullaby ever. You are so awesome!
Country is about Storytelling, True Life...ugly and pretty. Unfortunately, this happens more than we want to know. V, predictable it is not.
it used to be, now its about trucks, beers and hoedowns. Still a few great artists left but dont get the spotlight like they used to.
"Go Rest High on that Mountain" sung by Vince Gill, Allison Krauss (Kr-ouse), and, Ricky Skaggs. Warning: Tears will happen.
Allison song Jacobs Dream... Oh my, make every grown man break down
If you don't shed a tear on Go Rest High on that Mountain. Check your Soul.
@@jerrykinnin7941 ok well I don't. That song just hasnt ever made me cry. Maybe be it takes to long and it's way to slow.
Go rest high was written for Vince gills brother who committed suicide
@@angelahassert3552 It was also written for Keith Whitley. Part of the lyrics were even taken from Whitley's song, I'm No Stranger To the Rain.
Your reactions, coupled with the editor’s inserts, made this one of the most enjoyable presentations of the video’s dark theme I’ve ever had the good fortune to witness. Thank you.
Yep, 100%, a great reaction video.
Ricky loved this song and told Brad that he absolutely had to make a video for it. Brad told him that he would shoot one but only if Ricky would star in it.
Is it me or is Baby Yoda looking at Van Like "Really dude it's over 20 smh" LMAO
If you listen to Brad’s Fishing Song ( I’m going to miss Her) you should recognize Brad’s wife. They were just starting to date.
Yeah but that is a funny song. So many good real country songs that mean a lot to people are out there. Just saying.
Kimberly Paisley
"He Didn't Have To Be" by Brad Paisley, a heart wrenching song or "Waitin On A Woman" and "DON'T TAKE THE GIRL"
no matter how many times I see and hear this video it brings tears to my eyes.... Beautiful
First requirement to make it in Country music: must be able to sing!
Thought I wish that was true. Pitch correction software rules country music for many years now
Nah. First requirement is a drinking problem. A lot of country “singers” are trash.....Tim McGraw....
@@MakePeopleMadForFun in his earlier years obvious you're stuck in the 80s
Definitely "I'm Gonna Miss Her" -- Brad has some more songs that are like this whiskey lullaby one, serious ones, etc. I'm gonna miss her is .. less serious :)
When the fish are biting and the wife is bitchin. I'm going to miss her lol
Brad and Allison are super
Allison Krauss "Ghost in this House", is an amazing song to showcase just how pure her voice is.
Whenever I need sad songs to sleep to I chose that song. Beautiful song
lmao "Allison Krauss is a great actress". Love this.
Love the song love brad paisley, country music tells the best stories.. get ready to shed a tear or two
Allison Krauss has the absolute voice of an angel.
I absolutely love the way this video is made like with the captions killed me. Omg I laughed so hard.
Yes! Check out Alcohol by Brad paisley!
My favorite part of this video is when they meet again and he forgives her.
That is my least favorite part.
Because there is forgiveness in Heaven, and an innocent child can see that.
Makes you wonder just how many military members came home to this same situation. I did. USAF for 4 years. I only got the Dear John letter days before I got out of the military. I survived that. It did hurt...bad. My advice for guys or gals joining the military, don't have a bond, @ie b/f, g/f with another person. Most will not work. This video brought back a lot of memories. 40 years since my discharge, the memories of that Dear John letter still remain and the scar in the brain will always be there.
Both Brad Paisley and Allison Kraus are great performers.... well worth diving into more of their songs!
Brad Paisley is an excellent musician
Ricky Schroder silver spoons you're the 1st person I've seen notice that lol these youngstas dont know nothing bout that Fam!! Lol
Definitely the 1st reaction that recognized him! Love it!
I'm even older. I recognized him from a movie in the 1980's called The Champ.
😍
Oh I love this fams channels.. but Van about lost me here.. all that CONSTANTLY pausing.. And yes, I was 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 that he immediately was one that recognized Ricky (now Rick) Schroeder from Silver Spoons! Loved that show back in the day- looked forward to it every week!
Cold chills all over my body every time I hear this song, especially when I hear Allison's voice come in. 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
Her voice has a unique ability to pull emotions out of the hardest men. The power of a beautiful voice is like no other.
Did you know Alison holds the most Grammys of any singer?
In the opening scene did you notice the sound of gunfire? That was the veterans with PTSD going home. Tearjerker for sure.
IMO Way too many stops, and too talking, but it is your channel.
This song makes me cry every time, even 20 years later.
Seen this man in concert a little girl in the first and second row was holding up a Sharpie and a piece of paper he took it from the little girl took the Sharpie and signed the guitar he was playing and handed it to her nothing but respect for mr. Brad Paisley
I loved the way u reacted to this.. the comedic subtitles def makes u diff than other channels and made the video even funnier🤣😂
Like the reactions but , sorry, this time you frustrated the hell out of me. Instead of listening you stopped it every 10 seconds and then couldn't follow a straight forward story. I gave up on it beginning the first chorus
Yeah same here. I liked to hear his thoughts, but he just kept stopping it and guessing what was gonna happen. Listen/watch the entire thing then comment. Not a good reaction video IMO.
This my first time watching your reaction to anything......and i am sorry but you reduced one of the most beautiful country love songs and Cheapened it beyond belief. You missed the whole meaning of the song. NOW I am not being an ass but giving constructive criticism.
@@arthurdavis7573 what part of your criticism is constructive? Lol
Disagree. You came here for his reaction, not the song. If you want to listen to the song, it is on CZcams.
I love his reactions, because they are raw, real, and you see exactly what he is thinking. You hit a homerun with this one.
Same it was AGGRAVATING AS HELL!!!
I literally bawl every time I hear this song. Was really interested in your reaction.... even with all the pausing and talking/your confusion...I still bawled. The song and "movie/video" just get me every time.
i love how he react's to every detail of the video
THANK YOU AMBER!!
V...Brad is badass! His songwriting is beep but also funny as hell! Brad is also a master Guitarist. He and Keith Urban are the “shredders” of Country Music.
When I get where I’m going (ft. Dolly Parton)
Remind Me (ft. Carrie Underwood)
Alcohol
I’m gonna miss her
Online
Allison Krause could harmonize with me and it would sound good. She’s great!
Its a tearjerker for sure.
Yes Allison is one of the greatest singers ever along with Brad Paisley
When you said "I never point this out" I was prayin' say he gonna call out the bass. Thank you bro. In that moment it was a perfect decision to have the bass play the melody like that. The fact that you noticed it, made this thirty five year pro musician proud of you, man. Damn how music can connect people.
Dude this song is a whole different feel the story of this and the way its told is truly 👏
i live 7 houses down from brads parents house in glendale/McMechen WV, my family went to john marshall high with him. they are an amazing family. nice to know a small kid in a small town can make it out like this.
by the way this is a true story and pretty common situation..
Brad Paisley and Allison Krauss. Both have amazing voices. And talents. You should check out both, individually. Her voice is so amazing! Heart melting.
I love I found you and your family! You all are great and your reactions are fun. Thank you!!
There was a lot of misses in the commentary 😅
Welcome to Makers Mark LOL
You are SO funny! I was waiting for how long it'd take you to realize Alison is the Singer! Ha ha ha. You're Awesome!
Very sad situation in this video. I love that you feel this in your heart and then express your feelings. Your a very compassionate man and it shows. I loved the song.
Allison Krause is a super star in music. Shes originally from the bluegrass scene but shes really become a big deal. Shes quite in demand and can pick or choose who she works with. Saw her when she made an album with James Taylor.... And if you dont know james taylor... You need to. Hes a GOAT. First artist ever the beatles ever signed to the record label Apple Records. And its pronounced Alison Krowse like ow i stubbed my tow kr "ow" se
And she plays about 10 instruments
@@tonyfro23 I've been a fan since the early days of Alison Krauss & Union Station which is one of the great bands I've ever seen. saw them Live Twice. Saw her play anything but a fiddle.
The story of this song tho... Wow
Alison Krauss has the voice of an angel and has won more Grammys than any other woman (I think) in history so far. She has at least 24 of them with her band Union Station and won Album of the Year for Raising Sand which is a compilation of duets with Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin fame. Brad Paisley plays the guitar with the best of anybody, rock, country, whatever. And because Fam was interested in Dolly Parton songs, I think he ought to check out Brad Paisley singing with Dolly in When I Get Where I'm Going. I realize its not his genre, but I think its a really good song that will bring a tear to his eye, and I was really glad Brad had the respect for Dolly to ask her to accompany him on the record.
One of the finest country songs ever written
You are starting to talk too much . This song has some of the best lyrics and you were not paying attention .
I completely agree, we watch reactions to see reactions not hear a fucking sermon every few seconds.
I thought the same thing. More listening, less comment until the end. You lose the sentiment and flow of the song if you talk too much.
It is a shame he did not hear the song.
@@anymouse5018 I hear what your saying, but really think it was cool how he really tried to soak up as much about the song as he could.....gotta remember that it can be easy for us to expect everyone to hear the song the same way we do, if we have been a diehard fan of it for years......but there are certain songs, like this one in particular, that really cut deep, and can be a powerful experience hearing it the first time, compared to knowing the flow by heart like on auto pilot, which happens to people usually over time with things......plus had a drink with the song, which is the real way to get acclimated with a song like this, but can be a little overwhelming at times, shit really hits home.....it has the theme of the sadness of life, the truth of fate, being something that we all have to deal with at some point, or witness it with someone else
Sorry, but i have to agree! U can listen to music, or you can hear music, theres a big difference!
Right now you are listening!
That older couple at the funeral was his parents.
Alison Krauss and Brad paisley or two of the greatest singers ever in country music
That's how you know he's never seen this video! He's going "wait, what?". This is one of the saddest song ever. Still breaks my heart
Put the whiskey down haha this was hard to watch 😂
You don't want to go down the Allison Krauss rabbit hole. At 1 time had more Grammys that any other female singer in history
Hahaha! Sad song but but when you realize who Alison Krauss was...hilarious!!! Love the content, roaming around your channel.
Try “waiting on a woman”. By Brad Paisley And if you are dad listen to “He didn’t have to be. “ Brad Paisley.
Brad Paisley has so many great songs it's hard too choose. "I'm going to miss her" & "Little moments" both have his wife in the video. Actress Kelli Williams- Paisley. He's in a bunch of Allstate ads too.
Brad Paisleys wife's name is Kimberly Williams... She's an actress
@@kellygodwin64 Right.
Could you imagine how quickly that situation could completely change a man's life? Knowing that your hopes and dreams are completely destroyed the moment you opened that door? Can you hear the woman's Perfect Voice in the song? Do you know there's tears in my eyes for those where this is a reality? Don't you know these things are very real? How does that reality hit you?
I just can’t with this song. Tears every time
Please react to "Dont take the girl" by Tim McGraw
i don’t mind the commentary.. adds to the authenticity of the reaction. well done my friend! and yes, take the time to learn a couple chords on the guitar.. it’ll change your life.
I have no emotions most of the time. But this song makes me cry
ALISON KRAUSS "I HOPE YOU DANCE" 2001
Beautiful beautiful and she seems like an angel.
lol...Alison Krauss is not the actress...she is a famous Bluegrass singer
You spelled "greatest bluegrass singer ever" wrong. :p
That voice is sweet as
I truly believe you have the Best country reactions because...You Get It. Or, don’t act “dumb” for the sake of acting. Thank you for being genuine!
This reaction was a really fun roller coaster. Knowing how the video and song plays out, it was kinda funny, but there was a somber comedy to it.
when you die and go to heaven and the angels are singing they will sound like Alison Krauss!!!!!
You stop it way to much
You talk ahead of yourself
You missed everything stopping an talking. You should just kick back an listen dude, than react
This reaction is iconic 😂 so funny bro' 🔥. I love it because it is a REACTION video (with analysis and comments.. even if some times it's just funny remarks 😂). People who are like 'too much pauses' ... I mean... go watch the whole music video then.
Yes the Bass is magical.. props to the Bass player
🤣🤣❤ you just make my soul happy! Ty for being you!!
Regardless of any confusion, I appreciate your honest "Reaction" to this video. It shows that you are genuine in your first reaction to this video. Keep it up!
Save your Maker’s Mark for after your videos lol 🤣🤣🤣
Lori White is the actress .. she actually sang country and started acting .. she passed away in real life .. Also that’s Ricky Shroder that played the soldier.. he won best video of the year for a director .. song won lots of awards .. Alison is singing
My daughter took me to a brad paisley concert and in the middle of it, this little girl
I forget what its like to have story telling in music😩
I think you got deep in that bottle of Maker’s for this one
A beautiful song. Tears. Thanks🤘
My father died of a alcohol overdose when this song came out I cried!!!!
