The book The woman who heard color by kelly jones also deals with synesthesia. It's a historical fiction on art and WWW 2 a dual timeline. I highly recommend!

Such a bummer about the disappointing books from authors you’ve loved! I completely agree about the asking for a sequel - they almost never lives up to expectations so might as well leave a good thing alone while you have it 😅

Only the Beautiful is soo good! i read it close to when it came out and gave it 4.5 stars! The Nature of Fragile Things by this author was a hit for me this year as well, definitely check that one out!

I had never read any Ruth Ware and picked up Zero Days. I actually really enjoyed it so I’m guessing I will Iove her other books 😊

Based on how much you loved Only The Beautiful, you might enjoy Lilac Girls (feels like it has similar kind of themes), and Wolf by Wolf. Not sure if you’ve read either yet.
