Take it from a former Vet Tech, YOU'RE WRONG! Dog saliva is NOT cleaner than humans, especially if they just finished licking their butt. This is EXTREMELY unsanitary (even though most people think it's cute).

Doggy spit does NOT have magical properties of healing. As a former Vet Tech I need to tell you that allowing your dog to lick his (or your) wounds is beyond wrong and almost always causes infection. That's why Veterinarians make dogs wear those big Elizabethan collars, to KEEP THEM FROM LICKING!

i suppose you are going to poo on mommy spit now.. got me through grade school - broken hearts to turf rash.. perhaps you don't know that dogs you live with - you already have their germs.. that is why vets wear gloves and such.. not your dog, then of course not.
