Outstanding how Blizzard decides to leave DH alone when it does more damage than DK while having much better defensives. Not to mention the armor nerfs. They're out of their fkin minds.
Dh also has better cc and a real mortal strike effect too 😓 honestly shocked they didn’t get touched lol
not saying dh shouldnt get nerfed, but if u look at the blizzard meters instead of details, you would realize that unholy dk actually does more damage than demon hunter, at least i do consistently every single game against them. And in fact maybe the only class(es) that did more damage than unholy when theres an unholy in the lobby is probably arms warrior or ww
@@Kodama666 Demon Hunter has far higher sustained damage, equal burst, far better mobility, a MS, insane CC, actual immunity and better defensive CDs, etc.
Even if you were right, it's still far superior. DK didn't need any nerfs, at least without defensive compensation. Blizzard just simply has no idea how to balance their game. Never has.
i never said it wasnt true they have benefits over unholy, and i never said it shouldnt be nerfed, literally the first thing i said lul. but again no, unholy does more damage, thats just a fact, and i have the clips and data to prove it if you really want@@landrybt
They only do more overall damage due to the dot damage. Single target, Defensive, mobility, utility, and cc they lose. They even lose at aoe if all bunched up. @Kodama666

Thing is, we get no buff in defencives. Not only that BUT we get a nerf overall in defence. I mean we cannot stand dmg from monks dhs warriors hunters now it will be even worse.

Maybe you Yeah, but not everyone is so good like you and some people play for fun and its no fun if you have to run all the game like your a heal. We will See how hard the nerf will Hit, but i am sure i wont play much wow anymore i just hate it to quit come back when dk gets a buff and quit a few weeks later because they nerf him again
i spat out my coffee when i saw the armor nerf to dk like wtf are blizzard doing this is such a smooth brain move, we are not a cloth wearing class we wear plate and they nerf that makes no damn sense,
also they should have nuked the festering wound down to 0% we don't need to burst like other classes whit 1 shot button they should have baked more damage to our rot damage and minions,
all i can say is i hope Blizz gets replaced by AI at least then we wont have lose cannons making the shots on class design.
Exactly okay then don’t give us good healing again but atleast get us tanky again i miss dk beeing a parrying plate mf running towards you, now look at us. Not even possible to kite a warrior or dh, rogue,monk but in close fight you absolutely get deleted..

In theory, taking bloodforged armor pvp talent for the physical damage reduction for 3 seconds. okay if that needs Death strike to be useful against other melee. Then getting Disarmed feels ever worse then already does. DOT build seems to work fine in 3s where the damage is spread out but in 2s I am not so sure. I am interested in seeing what you come up with.
Yeah going to have to kite with chains a lot more then before into physical damage probably, but assuming you adjust your gameplay to accommodate the nerfs DK will still be good and work just fine. Only problem is some people might not prefer that kinda playstyle so it might push some away from DK. 😔
@@Partywaffles Having to play with ice chains and a melee class that doesn't hurt melee needs to be running away from combat and only using its diseases is not ''adapting'' to the changes, the only thing you are indicating with this is the class is completely dead in PvP, the damage nerfs were not justified at all nor did we need a nerf, there are classes that do much more pressure and damage than a DK UH at this moment, defending that they give us a damage nerf seems somewhat irresponsible to me coming from a R1 sincerely.
I agree DKs are strong but how are DHs not getting touched... DH still does stupid amounts of damage (more than a DK does if played right). Tbh damage isn't the bit that hurts, the survivability nerf is what annoys me, may as well have written "f*ck DK's" on the patch notes with that one 😂
Yeah it’s kind of insane to me dh didn’t get nerfed too lol. Like I assumed when DK got nerfed they would 100% as well.

When this launches can you help show us a new build idea. I love the idea of going with blood strike build as im use to blood spec most. Im transitioning into unhkly and with these nerfs i dont wwnna learn the old build i subscribed
Actually got me pissed reading the changes. Gonna try some pvp tomorrow, hopefully im gonna win atleast one arena, with 60% range armor buff and minus like 500k damage per avg arena from these changes.
Im sure being a top end player this isnt an issue. Most people arent up there and will notice their class getting wrecked by every warrior they find now and getting two shot by ww monks. Its a plate melee class, we should have to kite and run away all the time like a rouge.

Nerfing necrotic might be the backlash of increasing the total HP from PvP trinkets. 🤔
Yeah I didn’t think of that last night but it most definitely is, since necrotic wounds are % based. Hopefully it evens out more or less

Hopefully Blizzard in the next patch will undo some of the damage done. I don't disagree that we were strong... I just think there is flawed logic in the changes they made. Just comes across as not very well thought through. I digress, we press on!

The stamina buff is kinda big for dk too because we got the talent Veteran of the third war that increase the stam by 20%, necro wounds atm is healing 4% of the maximum health and so basicly they nerf necro wound cos of the stamina buff and i guess we wont notice that 1% nerf even ,also death strike minimum % healing is again about our maximum health on top of that the the healing on us from the healers will be bigger than the rest classes cos of the stamina and our talent . it rly sucks only the wound and coil nerf that basicly killed insta the Clawing build , even vs casters we cant use it the presure wont be enough , but on other hand the dot build is doing all fine an yea it will become the meta , i think dk will be mby OK but we are no longer S or A tier

Noob unholy dk here. Question. Have you found out if Dk's blind DOES take 100% more dmg before breaking? Loving DK. Easier for me as a noob than Warrior and Monk were in PVP. I got a Warlock to 65 before kinda giving up on it. And feral druid is even faster paced button mashing than Warrior 😅 I'm thinking I'll like Paladin...seems similar paced to DK

I am not an expert, nor can I boast of having surpassed the score of 2.3k, however I have tried to take BF on several occasions and it feels like a cheat, it is not very helpful... Maybe I don't apply it well, but It's my opinion and I've consulted and several people tell me the same thing... We'll see how everything turns out, I hope the nerf isn't too noticeable, although I doubt it...
Me personally I play bloodforged in many full physical lobbies and have 6-0d because of it. Including one of the 6-0s I being to #1 on ladder. If you keep it up 100% of the time or before you get stunned for the go it seems very valuable.

is dk the only class in the game, what gets so many nerfs every season in pvp or i am wrong? and i think its the only class what gets a nerf on ms so many times. we had necro strike, than necro wounds from 30% to 24% to 18% whats next? 12%? if they want to nerf the heal, okay nerf the heal from the pvp talent by 6% but not the "ms".
its no fun playing a class what has only 2 good combs
and a player like mes, petkick or mr. waffles will get every season glad / rank 1 on dk but the normal player needs a good class to get high / have fun in arena/pvp
and pilla chains of ice dont sounds fun for me. a class what has plate should be more tanky than a lether class
Honestly think Enh gets more nerfs every season on average than any spec. DK def gets their fair share though. Roller coaster of fun for sure.

I think that’s an over reaction, I still think dk will be a very strong class. Especially since it seems they’re slowing the meta and dot dk shines in damp meta. (Although not the most fun meta)
@@Partywaffles well I have tons of fun with unholy strike ( why they removed it tho lol??) and actually decent survivability in duels
@@Partywaffles i mean ok for unholy, but frost is really hard to setup in a shuffle and even if you get it, not really enjoying a disarm on my go 🥲
I love how Partwaffles confesses that DK was due a nerf, like DK cannot have good things, its this inferiority complex that we cannot be strong. You never see Rogues, Wars, DH confessing anything similar? They expect to be OP, DKs do not, and feel bad when they are.
