  • Sarah Markel, a Detroit police detective who does phone extractions within the homicide unit, testifies on Thursday, June 20 at the trial of Samantha Woll's alleged killer. Michael Jackson-Bolanos is standing trial for murder and other charges in June in connection with the Oct. 21, 2023, stabbing of Woll at her Detroit home.

    The article bookmarked on the deceased’s phone does not help the prosecution. I dont care what excerpt they ask the investigator to read aloud. How do we know the deceased was aware of it’s feel good contents. The title of the article suggests it was an article about being afraid of your romantic partner. She may have bookmarked it so she could read it later.

      Agreed. Also the fact that her phone was unlocked multiple times suggests that was actual the time she was struggling. Also, the ADT records show open/close front door multiple times before she arrived home near midnight.

      Hmmmmm…I didnt catch this. It definitely points to her ex, since there was no sign of forced entry.

    At 1:02 sent ❤ emoji to Barney aka David Wilkinson (sp?). Remember Jeff smiled during his testimony when the defense asked if Sam ever sent him emojis. There is no way he did not have her passcode to ber phone.
