I'm gonna dub this month the "Bass House Month." In all seriousness this was probably one of the hardest months I've had to rank. Aside from the bottom few and my #1, I had no idea where any of the songs would end up as they're all super different and pretty good to boot!

Hey guys, just wanted to give you an update on my upcoming uploads and such ⬇️
- So first off, it's my 21st birthday this Saturday (Sept 4th), and I got family coming in & stuff so I'll be pretty busy this Labor Day weekend, but that doesn't mean I don't have youtube videos planned ⬇️

Weird month. Apart from a few highlights, and a few floppers, almost every song is about the same quality, in the same gray area. its really weird.

Be With You is probably my favorite of the month, Danny Leax’s house is just fantastic, the bass is so clean and bouncy, and I love the melodic sound design, I’ve listened to it so much that it might even beat out how much I love Daydream
27. This part of the song is awesome (7/10)
26. I generally don’t like Effin (4.5/10)
25. Bass House is a hit and miss genre this is a hit barely (5.5/10)
24-18. The potential in these remixes are seriously reached (Avg. 7/10)
17. I love Arlow’s releases on NCS but this is good (10/10)
16. Interesting release (9/10)
15. SABAI did an awesome release. He doesn’t disappoint me (9/10)
14. Awesome release but cut back on the glim glim vocals (7/10)
13. Direct did a weird release with the vocal chops but I like garage (7/10)
12. Again this is a hit (8/10)
11. I like Stonebank but this is weird (6.5/10)
10. I like this release but this is weird for some reason (8/10)
9. I honestly thought this was future house but no I get trap (8/10)
8. Breaks is a hit and miss genre. This is a hit (10/10)
7. Drum step is a hit and miss genre. This is a miss (4.5/10)
6. The melody is a bit ear-gritting but I like the beat (6/10)
5. Tony Romera is interesting to say the least (7/10)
4. This is a banger (10/10)
3. This was interesting (6/10)
2. MYLK is an awesome artist (10/10)
1. I freaking love this song especially the second drop (100/10)
San Francisco is growing on me. Plus i learned to tolerate ANTA’s inoffensive drops so thats cool.

Omg, FWLR existentia and Stonebank Keep up the Space are the only highlights for me, kinda of a week month for me :0.
Also Eternal, SMLE is one of my favorite artists and he has been putting only bangers lately. Also, I watched Athena's crate battles with Jon and everyone, so I was REALLY surprised to see her on Monstercat, I still feel like I can't process it. Still, Eternal is a banger c:

Is FWLR actually pronounced Fowler? I thought it was pronounced Fooler reading it lol. Don't ask i heard it somewhere and seeing the name here made me remember that adhd lol.

Effin - Unlucky: I really enjoy this. It is a bit awkward at first listen though.
Direct - I Know: The most annoying thing is the messed up visualizer.
Stonebank - Keep Up The Pace: Banger.
Whales - Poisons: Should be some House. Pre-Drop sets it up for house.
Bensley - Control Me: I don't like Breaks.
OBLVYN - Enter REM: I don't like the lead used in Alive, and I don't like it here. Everything else is really good, except that lead. Therefore, I love the second drop.
Athena & smle: Not a fan of the vocals.
Highlights this month: Be With You, Scared, Control Me, Existentia, Mermaid, Eternal

this is probably the weakest month i remember as a monstercat fan. only a few songs stood out to me (unlucky, party on my own), and the rest just felt like they existed (aside from one track)
best: party on my own, unlucky
worst: san francisco (monstercat needs to step up their bass house game)
bo2021: beacon (2 month streak)
wo2021: ms69 (2 month streak)
We need something like Life & Death. I swear the bass house we are getting is mediocre. Habstrakt still hasnt put on anything in Monstercat and Tony Romera is going in different directions which is really cool but there’s nothing that keeps me jumpin’ like Lasagne or I Can’t. Kohmi’s stuff is really meh and there’s really nothing else. Where’s Kage or Matroda as well?
