Topdon Phoenix Plus. First look.

Car diagnostics equipment from Topdon.
They supply a large range of gear.
Just watch out for the massive fee after the two years of updates expires.
Currently they want £550 to renew after the second year.
Very close to the cost of a new machine with a two year licence.

Seems very impressive, especially considering the highest level I ever reached was a copy ELM327 and some pirated, barely functional software that came with it...
Very weighty and well protected. The stand is very handy and will go over the steering wheel whilst working inside the car.
More adapters than I know what to do with.
The USB charging cables go into recessed sockets, so look after them.
It may be tricky to get replacements to fit.
I don't like the supplied USB charger, it is light and cheap.
I also don't like the plastic case, it is all moulded, even the hinge and it may not be long before the hinge plastic breaks. An aluminium case with foam will be a better option. Disappointing at this price level.
