A quick look at some installation points and another rant.
Massive, over the top brackets, with screws that are way too small. Use washers!
The installation videos are fairly good.
Measure multiple times before cutting and make sure one end has some room for free play so you can adjust the belt tension. Cut with a mitre block and fine blade hacksaw.
Cut the belt after counting 20 teeth for the bay window installation.
Belt tension is critical for smooth running.
Even a small variation can make a difference.
To pair the remote control press the button on the motor and the S1 button on the remote control.
If the curtain opens when it should close you can reverse the operation, see the user manual.
Use the Tuya Smart app to pair with the curtains and then link to your Amazon Alexa account. It all works really well.
To pair with the app. Press the button three times on the motor, fast blinking will start, you need slow blinking so press the button one more time.
There are many modes you can enable as required.
Close and open based on local time of day.
Close or open if you tug the curtains.
Timed schedules.

Screws that are supplied are prepacks made by the cheapest supplier. I almost invariably never use them at all, using either chipboard screws or drywall screws, bought from Pelican MIS, as those are the strongest screw you can get. They will self drill, even though they are not actually self drilling, and will go into 2mm steel tube no problem.
