This is an excellent film. Just saw it two days ago and must say it is extraordinary. You can tell when you watch the shorts on this that the cast had a blast making the film and when you see that you know it's good. Reminds me of my father who fought in WW2 and wasn't supposed to.

The best stories are always loosely based on reality. Real life hero's are much more worthy of having their stories told, I don't even mind a bit of artistic licence.
The reviewers were like it’s a copy of inglorious basterds yet it’s based on a true story and a completely different movie altogether.
