16:02 Zee likes Geometry now?! 😂
I know, Camilla, last year you backed "Hike It!" on kickstarter... That game looked much more promising, but let's hope that it ever will be published, after reading all the disappointment comments about the lack of updates 😔
For me, the theme disappears the second the game wants you to build cairns. Real hikers know not to build cairns. They are for denoting existing hiking trails, so people building their own cairns are not only making things confusing, but they are breaking the Leave No Trace rule of hiking. So good job kicking down their cairns!
I was about to post something similar. Please don't build cairns while hiking/backpacking IRL, thanks!
Deep in the backcountry you can build cairns. If all you do is stay on a designated trail then yeah … don’t build cairns as they can cause confusion, etc.
Cairns often times can be harmless and very memorable/fun and extremely useful.
It’s not all black and white here, there is plenty of grey.
Sure it’s not illegal per se, and can be fun, but if you’re following “Leave No Trace” principles (take nothing but pictures/memories, leave nothing but footprints) you still shouldn’t.
That’s my opinion, you do you. Have fun boardgaming and enjoying the outdoors!
The cover is great aside from the dude’s melting face. Sad to see the fantastic, underutilized hand-building mechanism stapled to a mediocre game
Always hate when a game overstays it's welcome.
