I wish they’d reinforce the idea that the barricade room is the ONLY room that can be by barricades a bit more. Also the last room that stumped you is the largest minimum range from a secret room, even though it was surrounded the closest one was 3 moves away. Pretty neat looking game. I can’t wait for it to release.

In case you do play this again, there are two things i noticed that would be helpful for you to know: The barricade room is the only room that can spawn next to barricades.(this was taught to you, but you just kinda forgot) 27:38 and 29:20 had more secret room spots than there were secret rooms, so that was just plain RNG.
Eh they were the only 2 connected to treasure rooms I’m pretty sure there isn’t rng just cause you could have impossible scenarios with bad luck, the game didn’t say it though
Unless there is a non-written rule that secret rooms tend to be closer to the entrance, like the guest room. Then it's kinda devs fault, for not stating that
I think the first one is caused by the treasury room while the other is: There is 5/5 4 is already 10 spots away So the last one is both 9 spots away, so 50/50? No. The one on the left is further to the entrance than the one he clicked (and got wrong) if you just visually look at it, even without calculating slopes
Hey I think a couple of those last levels absolutely had multiple room candidates and was luck based as to where the right ones are. If thats the intent of the devs to have there being a chance element, we suddenly have a use for those items beyond just the novelty aspect
No it was just the treasure rooms next to them for why it wasn’t them the only one I’m not sure about was that one hermit room but I think it’s cause there as a secret one next to it
"Spiritual successor" to 5d chess came out, 4d golf! You should play it. Also has a level editor, but its a 4-5d level editor, also known as you need at least 3 degrees to use the thing
This game could definitely be more clear in its descriptions. Especially the farthest away from all other secret rooms one. I’m assuming that it means largest sum of distance from the other secret rooms. (I think that’d put the last one to the left of the left most sword rooms)

[backseat gamer here] So the room that's far away from all of the others.there were only 9 only valid spots (not next to another SR or barricade), and all but 2 were diagonally adjecent from a SR, except for the one spot it was at and the one next to it, the one it finally being on being the furthest As for the 5 normal SRs all being 3 sided, I think they cant be by special rooms? but I dont think it says it in the dungeon manual, and its speculation
I just curious what the staying power of this, I feel like after a few runs I wonder what get you going other than just repeating these, sometimes, simple "logic" puzzle
Idk, it looks way too easy, the logic is extremely basic. Can't see myself playing it for more then an hour as it is. The items and relics seems almost unnecessary with how straight-forward the logic is. The only one really troubling is the "farthest from all secrets".

A barricaded room can not have any secret rooms to the barricaded sides. The ONLY exception is the brown room. (so far bc i dont know this game)

But the manual implies it filtres for most adjacent rooms then picks randomly, not based on some distance to entrance
Also normal secrets can be adjacent to only normal rooms and none other secrets iirc, but that mightve been helpful
This game actually goes super hard in my opinion and I love how it gained it's own identity
With that last room in the end you kept trying to place it next to a blocked side, I know some secret rooms allow that but more often they don't
