Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the ninth month on the Islamic lunar calendar, where Muslims across the world observe fasting from dawn to dusk. Eid is day of festivities, food and fun times spent with loved ones. Being far from my family, we have found friends over the years who have become like family for us.
