Sunroof won't close! No Problem! Reset your BMW sunroof!!

If your sun wont close in your E90 BMW then you probably just need to reset it. In this video I show how.

Almost broke out the tools did one last search and found this video. My window was stuck open in vent mode and the switch was deader than a door nail. This tip fixed it right up! A bit more than 15 seconds on the push but solved my problem, saved me a trip to the dealership. This is why Al Gore invented the internet!

Life saver bro. I have a 2006 x-3 and it worked like a charm. Except mine was first stick open like yours then I somehow got it to close and it was stuck shut. It worked after seeing this. I held the button all the way through the cycle. It would stop during cycle if I just held for 15 seconds

wow this fixed my F10 sunroof not wanting to tilt anymore.... awesome video and saved me some money ! I did have to hold the vent button while it did a number of different movements to the sunroof but once it was done moving the reset was complete

Took a couple tries, you do have to keep holding the button down through the whole reset cycle but it fixed my roof not sliding up when closing all the way. Thank you so much.
