For a long time, I had a budget of 50€ and my goal was (and still is) to get every TG, GG, SR and SAR and for that, if I can give a piece of advice, buying single cards is the best way. By doing that, you get 100% pull rate! :D

if you have only 50 dollars and you want a cool collection, then ONLY BUY SINGLES. the reason why is because you can get cool pokemon cards that are also cheap( for example, conkeldurr v, full art, market price:1.37$).
Really depends what you want to collect, but collecting singles is very underrated in the sport!

Great advice, from someone who recently started to build decks and play, going to local events, trading, and sifting through bulk at local stores is a great way to deckbbuild.

I would check out Walmart, they have been getting random restocks and we found some cheap Zaptos boxes. Others wise, 401 or Kanzen online have some decent prices on ultra premium boxes. Unfortunately, local card shops don’t have any good prices on 151 left.
