- In our latest Colorado adventure we head to Americas Moutain, Pikes Peak, to do the infamous Pikes Plummet shuttle! With about 7,6000 feet of descending, the excitement is real! But will we make it to the bottom?

And until next time, Ride Awesome!
#pikespeak
So glad you guys came to ride the Plummet. Next time let’s get a shuttle you don’t have to go back up for. And as far as Jacks goes, you can just climb to ride that from where you parked. Announce when you’re coming back and we’ll give you the COS grand tour!
Great job! We are starting a new drinking game. Drink any time Mo says "sick'! Keep ridin'!
Andddd bucket list item added. I love Colorado and pikes peak is by far worth the drive.
Sick!
I rode up and down Barr trail twice, in 2013 and 2014. On a hardtail too!
It has only gotten more eroded over time, there has been some maintenance but mainly aimed towards hikers. Great riding above the Incline.
Love your videos guys! I'm riding this on Friday and I'm pumped. Was that Lake Moraine that your were climbing? How long did it take you to finish the whole trail? Much love.
Cool mountain. Nice trails. Perfect video. Good job.
😄😄🤘
The pine cones add like an element of gnar 5:12
Can't wait to one day do this!!!!
Awwww rad. That's my mountain. If you ride it again, drop in all the way at the top not down at Elk Park.
Looks like some killer stuff!
Mo, I love your singlases... can you share the make and model? Thanks 🤙🏽
Super Fun lines , Bless UP guys ✨🤙🤙😊
Thank you! 🤘🙌
That was awesome. To bad I suck at climbing.
Looks awesome:)
I want to do that when I go back ! I also missed out on that bike park when I was there because of the crash so now I have to go back😂
Yes! Next time haha!!
Awesome you got to ride Captain Jacks! If you are still in the Springs and need anything let me know! If my Ripmo AF was in, id have you both autograph the frame haha. Enjoy!
It was awesome!! Haha we’d be honored 😳😂
Nice, i would need a mini oxygen tank for that altitude and climbing. It's always nice to have a few bikes to choose from depending on terrain. Starting tomorrow i have 5 days off and most likely heading to Dupont for at least 2-3 of Blue trails, it s POURING now but weather shows to be nice next 5
Not sure how you ride without gloves? I have done it in the past and when my hands sweat they slip/slide on the grips and i have OURI grips
Kneepads and gloves definitely a good idea with all of that rock! One good hit could permanently ruin your mobility (and be the end of the channel!) Ride (safely) awesome!
Do they have guided group tours for this trails?
If you come out to Denver again, please try the Dakota ridge trails. Short, but very worth it.
Awesome!!! We will check it out! 🤘🙌
Then try "Full Pull" golden gate canyon st park. West side of Golden CO.
Hi, what shuttle company did you use? Thanks.
Where did you bump off the Pikes peak Highway?
Crazy to think racecars go up that road as fast as they can. Would love to ride there.
It’s scary!
Crazy amount of descending 🤯
It was insane!!! 🤘🤘😭
You two always have amazing adventures never stop!
We try our best! 😂😄😄
i would like to do the mtb trail it looks so fun
Mo, have you missed the Ripmo now that you are on the HD5?
Hannah, have you missed the HD5 now that you are on the mojo?
I am really thinking of purchasing an HD5 and wanted to hear your take on the HD5 versus what you are/have ridden.
Thanks for any info you can share.
This reminds of my ride in India was descending from the khardungla pass(18.3k ft) to leh (11k ft) .. although the descending was primarily on "gravel"/ road ...I was riding a 26er with a rim breaks...I was going at 40-50kmph and the stopping power was laughable to say the least and it rained/snowed/haled on my way down....
WOW! 😳😳👏
awesome. I was there last month but didnt make it to Pike Peaks for the Barr Trail.
Next time! It was totally worth it!
@@moandhannahtravel oh yeah my buddy Tou, met you two at Lake Tahoe hiking...lol, saw his pix
I know this video is a couple of years old but I’m wondering how tough the climb was at that altitude (about 10,000 according to MTB project). For reference, I’m heading to Colorado in September and this trail is at the top of my list. I’ve also done TWE and the burro pass climb was tough, but that was steeeep towards the end. I probably walked 50% of that climb.
Great video! What kind of GoPro are you using in this, Mo?
Hero 8! We are loving it so far!
Sasquatch crossing sign FTW! Any sightings? 😬
😂😂😂
MTB, LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA
I believe that ride you did is what they call the Pikes Peak Plunge, it is supposed to be a more fun ride than riding down Barr trail, though Barr trail lets you descend all the way from the summit.
Yes! We did pikes peak plummet! We were also told that the trail from the summit isn’t that good. we couldn’t get to the summit anyways that day
@@moandhannahtravel @mrvwbug44 - is this trail on Trail Forks? I'm only seeing Barr Trail on there and would love some info/beta about getting to Pikes Peak Plunge / Plummet!
@@moandhannahtravel too bad! Y'all missed the Summit house donuts!
Looks like Mount ⛰️chiliad from grand theft auto 5 video game 🎮.
Elk Park or Barr trail down? What’s the best option………
Elk Park stops at Barr. Just one way down and that's Barr.
I can see that mountain from my house
Jacks is great but there is so much more in the canyon...
Yep especially now.
Anyone got the list of trails ridden in this video?
Elk Park, Barr
I live at sea level and got to experience Pike's Peak last summer. It was no joke! Had me light headed and feeling awful. 😵
👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿
76,000? 7,600'.
Oh no! We said 76,000? 😂😂
Looks pretty basic except for a few rocky areas
