I always wanted to go to the DMZ but was told it was off limits. That's probably why I wanted to go ! My last civilian boss was stationed there in the mid - late 1960's with the US Army, and he had some wild stories about the place. They had bleachers set up facing the DMZ and would go there at night for beer and popcorn, and . . . artillery firefights ! American and N Korean soldiers had walking patrol routes that were inches apart. North Korean soldiers would swing rifle butts or spit at them whenever they got close enough. I can't believe Yongson Army Garrison is closed, that place must have employed thousands of Koreans. Thanks for the video, . . . very interesting.

Ya brother used to be able to go to the area with the North Korean and South Korea n guards right next to each other and the blue negotiation room. Covid and an Army knuckle head who crossed into North Korea closed that place up for visitors

@@PLATINUMSWORDS There will always be clowns, dude was US Army that was getting kicked out of the military for some mental health stuff, and decided hey why don't i stir up some shit and cross into north Korea during a tour and he got detained and our Govt had to negotiate for his release
