- The Willard InterContinental Washington, commonly known as the Willard Hotel, is a historic luxury Beaux-Arts hotel located at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue. The Willard is neighbors with one of the most famous houses in the world...The White House. The Willard is a historic luxury five star hotel and this family's favorite DC hotel. The hotel opened in 1847 when Henry Willard leased 6 buildings together to form one structure, The Willard Hotel. And then in 1901 the old hotel was torn down to make room for the beautiful 12 story French style architecture. The hotel is home to the famous DC bar the Willard's Round Robin Bar. The Willard is also home to French inspired cafes and bistros.
We stay in a Classic King or a Standard. The room is decorated so grown up with stately prints and a marble bathroom. However this hotel has the nickname the Hotel of Presidents so we had to check out some of the presidential suites. These suits have beautiful views of DC landmarks, full dinning rooms and the most magnificent luxury bathrooms. This is the best hotel in DC. Weather you stay in a standard room or a presidential suite you can't beat the luxury, location or history of the famous Willard Washington DC.

Your kids are so lucky to be able to go to all these cool hotels. And your neighbors are boring with just a plain white house 😂. Our family just goes to Holiday in Express - our go to. I’ll watch your video for the high life. It is definitely elegant.
