  • Season review of Liverpool's championship winning team of 1987-88, the debut season for Beardsely and Barnes, featuring the full 90 minutes of the 5-0 hammering of a very good Forest team.
Watch out for the moment in 59 minutes when the passing ambulance man shows some neat skill to recover a loose ball.
Also shows the old Anfield when the crowd would leave the stand and walk down the touchline.

Looking at the Leppings Lane terrace for the semi final against Forest is scary, knowing what would happen the following season. When Aldridge scores the 2nd goal for Liverpool, you can see that the end is over capacity. It looks uncomfortable to say the least.

I use a Sony RDR-HXD770 DVD Recorder which I attach to a video (I have Beta Max and VHS). I play the tape which is then recorded onto the hard drive of the DVD recorder, from there I can edit it, chop out add breaks etc then I burn the finished clip onto a DVD. After that it's standard stuff, Handbrake to export to MP4 and then upload. What era are the tapes you have from?

Hello Andy! I've been trying to talk to you, but there was no answer. I wanted to talk to you about old archive footage of Dutch football. Can you send me your email, please, so I can explain you better about our documentary project? Thanks!
