Hey man! Thank you so much for showcasing it! Really love how much attention you paid to the EQ as it’s one of the design parts that I’m super proud of as it’s a new or principle that no other company is using (yet).
As for the loop: you got a bunch of great candidates sitting right next to it 😊 in my personal rig I’m running our Aesahaettr in the loop to be able to get the perfect blend of clean boost and overdrive for the amp - the Blade would be the perfect candidate for that on your board 🙂

Yeah. I rewatched Jon Symons video and was like… why not just blend in another overdrive? Ha ha. I was thinking of doing some crazy stuff like adding a washy reverb and delay to see what could happen! I have a swollen pickle fuzz on the way and am thinking of using the KIY with it to see what I get!

I keep asking everybody this but can you make a metalzone clone that has an expression pedal that controls the midsweep?

I have owed this pedal for a few months now. The blend with the FX loop is what really sold me. It's such a great feature and just genius. I probably won't be able to own your amp (things are rough out here), but judging from this pedal, I am sure it's as well thought out as the pedal.

I think you will have fun with it man. The EQ is so well done you can get almost any tone!

Damn, that is a killer boost.

It is killer, and I am figuring out that I have barely scratched the surface with this one.

Great video, definitely a great performing pedal and I have been debating between this and the Aquaria which I’ll end up getting both. I have the classic circuits with the Tumnus Deluxe and the Maxon od808 which either lichtlearm audio pedal would give more fine tweaking I’m after. Give the aquaria or any other Klon circuit a try for the blue channel on the evh, it’s actually not bad either on red also but I find it gives a marshal like vibe on blue. Great review and you got my like…already following!

I had a EHX soul food pedal for while that I really liked on the EVH since it kept a lot of the low end heft in tact. I think my next Lichtlaerm pedal will be the Altar Fuzz pedal!

I think the metalzone is the ultimate boost pedal😊

I am hearing more and more aggressive circuits being used. I am getting a swollen pickle fuzz to try out in front of my EVH. I am liking the filthy low tuned tones I am hearing from folks lately.

@@BaritoneGoatStudiosomething ive found kind of weird is i tried to use the actual metalzone pedal as a boost for my amp sim but it didnt really sound right but when i used the plugin version it sounded great

@@Durkhead I have yet to hear a modeled pedal that really captures the behavior of a real pedal. I think often they are made to interact with the sim in way that is approximate. Some analog pedals seem to work well, but I also the Hi-Z inputs on the interface matters too. Ever since I started using a DI box in front of my interface, my tracks have been much cleaner and the impedance match seems to be way better for using amp sims in general.

@@BaritoneGoatStudioi havent really tried too many pedal plugins but the mercurial metal area pedal to me sounds very close to the actual metalzone pedal, bees and all. I think they did a great job with the midsweep knob

It seems like everything Daniel from Lichtlaerm touches turns to ‘yellow’ aka gold.

Well this one just became a contender…..I’m in the market for another drive or two! Very nice job with all of the different examples. Sounds great all around.

I keep saying no more drive pedals! And now I think I have four that really do cover all my bases. This one is the most versatile of the bunch… but I also just got a Swollen Pickle Fuzz and am going to start experimenting with driving my amps with high gain circuits and seeing how absurd I can get my tone.

@@BaritoneGoatStudio haha I love it! I sold a couple and kinda miss them both. I’m trying to decide which two I want to fit on my drive board. The Spooky Vibes is a must at this point. I’ve got a few to decide from now. Or just buy a bigger board and get them all haha! White girl problems. 💅
