the thing is, is that bright studio lights make everything look less intense. i have really bad eye bags and acne scars, and for one of my video classes i was under studio lights for a video and it almost looked like i was wearing makeup 🤷🏼♀️

They literally work with Robin... Who has the most eye bag so ever... But he is piously for them, so I feel he was considered, but they decided against it knowing Robin wouldn't.
For me it's hereditary and because I go to bed really late. My great grandma apparently had really really black eyes underneath and that with the combination of me being stressed and going to sleep at 1am every night= dark eyes.

Same! But then supposedly it's also a highliter and not really a concealer? So maybe that's why cause it's not actually meant to conceal (but they should still probably have darker highlighting shades)
They also said *one* of the darkest shades. Idk anything about this product specifically but the next shade could be a whole lot darker. Also I'm like 80% sure it's supposed to be a highlighter pen.

Yesssss. Normally they get sb with like a little dry spot or a few zits. Half the time you can't even see their acne even after zooming in all the way on it.

I know!!!! It's really annoying for me because I do suffer with acne. I would say I have a little more than her and I don't wear makeup, I embrace my acne. But kids at school they get one pimple which you can hardly notice might I add and they put Band-Aids over them. A couple of my actual close friends have done that multiple times and I'm just like "hey if I did that you might as well call me bandage girl, the new superhero in town!!!"

For me the one girl, doesn't really have dark circles... I think her dark circles are normal. I didn't notice much of a difference.. I am super pale and always have dark circles, so I wished they chose someone with more pronunced dark circles.... I feel like even just a light weight Foundation could cover hers easily...
Jellyfish_skys Ikr.. Even the most full coverage concealers won't get rid of my dark circles, I always have to color correct and even then, the shadow is visible. Not really a fair representation for those of us with extreme dark circles who want to really know which concealers to use.
IKR!! but on me also "brightening" concealers make me look more tired and the more product i use i look more cakey .. also my under eyes are hollow if that makes sense.. like i have those under eye lines and i swear i have the worlds darkest circles even if i sleep for 8 hours :( and im only 14
Under eye circles are cureable. Mostly bad eye sight or just the wrong diet, or allergys that affect your eyes.

Dude, part of my “dark circles” are the fact that my under eye is more set in than most people. The skin is naturally thin (as is for all people) and the blue veins show through. A tiny bit of cream blush under neath a light layer of concealer usually does the trick. Putting a lighter concealer in the deepest part also helps as it lifts it, like how contour deepens an area.
I think they were trying to use people of different skin tones... the other girl was already very fair & they used her for redness.

I’ve had vitiligo for most of my life, I’ve been super self conscious of it and could never find something affordable that had solid coverage. I’m super glad to see people embracing it and looking at it as something unique and beautiful.

The chick with the acne
1. Using the applicator directly on skin means youre just harbouring bacteria from acne in the tube.
2. Use a small amount of green concealer on acne first to remove redness because thats whats showing through each time.
The Ginja Ninja using a more yellow toned concealer would also do the trick. Full on green can sometimes show through foundation
Use yellow only if your face is more purpleish

In terms of having cystic acne like I do, I wear a green concealer first then the skin color concealer and it works!

I absolutely love my Tarte ShapeTape and would recommend it to anyone. I use it instead of foundation because it is so much lighter on my skin, but with the same (if not more) coverage for dark spots and redness. It doesn't make me break out AND it's cruelty-free! Wins all around!

i did not mean it as a competition, but simply because this is testing how good concealers are, and to fully cover real dark circles this concealer would not work. i would like to find a concealer that covers my super dark circles, which this video was actually supposed to be for but did not achieve.

The problem often, and this is my personal experience too, with acne we try to get rid of it so then we get dry skin and that worsens how it looks with makeup. Her skin didn’t look “bad” to me but I love their messages and “enhancement!” :)

I used to have really bad acne and now I'm stuck with the scars but I use the Tarte shape tape and it works amazing and the best part is that it doesnt break me out.
when i first started doing my makeup to cover my birthmark i used dermablend aswell, i had the same problem. it was very heavy and would come off half way through the day, it’s easier just using normal makeup even if it’s drugstore so yeah completely agree with the girl with vitiligo xx
