I've never worn one because I don't want to feel like I have a wedgie all day, but it sounds like you may be talking from experience. TMI, especially from a stranger, but I don't like to wear underwear with my leggings and sometimes with my dresses and am worried my leggings will rip, or my dress will fly up. I guess I just have to find the right type of thong.

Really good comfy ones are the no sew ones from VS. they are super soft and lightweight. Dont even notice em :) for the dress thing i totally know where ur coming from. When i wear a dress that has a loose flowy kinda skirt that could blow up, i always wear some lightweight spanx over my thong , that way if it does blow up it just looks like you have lil shorts on :)

I completely agree with this. I've changed sizes so much so I know. I've worn a size XS thong and then after my daughter was born I wore an XL thong. Now I wear a M/L and I have never felt like I had a wedgie. I always made sure to get the right size.

It is easy, thongs are stretchy, you can get a L it will stretch enough to fit an XL women while she is standing still, but as soon as she starts to move there wont be enough extra material left to cope with the movement so it will get uncomfortable, however if they would have bought an XL that fits them without stretching while standing still, i would have enough extra stretch while moving

I’ve been wearing only thongs for 4 years and they are more comfortable to me because I’m used to them. Maybe theyre getting the wrong kind of thong or the wrong size. Cotton thongs are way more comfortable than underwear that cuts into your buttcheeks, not to mention I work out a lot and if you wear anything other than thong/brazilian undies, everyone can see exactly what kind of underwear you have on when you wear yoga/workout pants. Get the right size and get 100% cotton and you won't go back; if you are having problems with chafing or wedgies, youre wearing the wrong kind for your body just like any other clothing.

Firstly....you do you....what's comfortable to you, ect. This is just food for thought. People who claim that thongs don't have panty lines are wrong. If someone is looking in that area they can see that you are wearing panties and what kind you are wearing. Question: Who really cares about panty lines or what type of panties are being worn? It's natural and common. That's just like saying you are only going to wear a strapless bra because your bra strap shows occasionally....who cares? We all wear them and know what they are. Wearing a bikini is basically the same thing as wearing a bra and panties and usually people have no problems with stripping down at the pool or beach during the summer. You don't hear anyone saying " Oh my you can see that I'm wearing a bikini!" However if you are that concerned about panty lines there are other alternatives to wearing thongs. There are seamless second skin panties, you could also wear no panties.
