Thank you very much for your video, but I have a question, could it be that the plugin I want to download does not have the Main.js file and that does not allow me to use it in Obsidian? thank you

Obsidian doesn't seem to recognise such files like css & js, I have them in a folder but in Obsidian it shows as an empty folder

I had an issue with it, where it could cause my Chrome to hang (NO IDEA what's the relation), so I stopped using it; maybe I should retry ...
And ... do you use it with SIP enabledd or disabled?

@@farzadmf I had issues with it a year ago when I first tried it, but later came back to it and it’s awesome. I still have SIP enabled

No, there's no plugins folder listed in the options under Community Plugins. It's only Restricted mode, Community plugins, Current plugins, and Debug startup time.
You should just be able to locate the folder in the file explorer, download the specific files from a website that isn't Github with its needlessly confusing "repos" and "assets", and paste them into the folder. There's no good reason for it not to be that simple.

      hi,
well I think that the folder is created at the moment when the first plugin is donwloaded from Obsidian community plugin repo, at the same time the dowloaded plugins are listed at the file - community-plugins.json
please check my other post from 31.01.2024 (above) where is the process explained in detail
      cheers

@jumpinjohnnyruss - As @bolekzahradnik said below - you need to install a community plugin first, then that option appears. I was stuck with this too!

thanks for fast and in short manual (Y)
=== For PC NOT connected to WWW (at all) ===
I will add that in case you have a PC with no access to internet (yes, even in 2024 :D)
    1) you might need to create folder "\.obsidian\plugins"
    2) you might need to create JSON file - community-plugins.json - located "\.obsidian\community-plugins.json"
with example content, see below, modify the list of plugins as you wish
    [
    "weekly-review",
    "dataview",
    "obsidian-excalidraw-plugin"
    ]
after Obsidian software restart you will get the plugins "mapped"
