I haven’t dug a Green Day song this much since Bang! Bang!
Fact: this was actually the third single, the 2nd one was "Look ma, no brains" who came out like a week after 'The American Dream...' and it actually had a video too.
And im with the comments, favourite single so far.
These vocals for the three singles might be the best vocals of Billie’s career. His voice has aged like a fine wine. Love your reactions, would love to see you guys react to Ordinary Christmas by State Champs for a celebration of the holiday.
I'm seeing Green Day in the UK this year on their Saviours tour at Wembley Stadium, playing Dookie and American Idiot in their entirety. SO HYPED.
Impressed and like johnny and other commenters have said, it's been a long time since I've heard and really liked a green day song. This def gave me older green day vibes. Glad I clicked into this video!!

The only time I saw them was in a pub in Southampton which held about 100 people.

this doesnt sound like dookie era at all. though u guys did mentioned it is bit heavier sound.
Parts of it sound like a slightly more mature version of that sound without just carbon copying it

“The American Dream…” is the only song from the new record I’m not impressed with.

i think thats the point, all the songs so far off the new album sound like they could have been on some of their old albums
The new album is feeling like they’re embracing all their eras and combining it into the one album which I’m really liking and is what’s needed after Father of All
Love this song, for me it’s the best green day song in YEARS
