I have this movie on DVD and VHS. I absolutely love this movie. But Mary Tyler Moore is the only leading lady that was never kissed by Elvis.
My favorite Elvis movie. Called “Change of Habit” about undercover nuns in NYC helping the poor with help from local cool, hip doctor (Elvis)-this scene is of Dr taking his young patient out for a day of fun. She had Autism.
Elvis was born in Tupelo Mississippi in 1935 on January 8. He lived there until he was 14 years old then he and his family moved to Memphis where he stayed until he passed away.
😢I miss this movie, Ray you're right it's the first time I've seen Elvis dressed normally and not combed perfectly, I think he's a doctor here and he's adorable, while Mary Tayler Moore is a nun. Elvis is gorgeous 👑🎸🎶🎶💗💗💗💗💗💗

I remember when I was about 7 hrs old. my beautiful, sweet dog "Lady" passed away under a table...I found her ...when the people came to take her away they put her in a large bag and threw her in the back of their truck. I was crying" Don't hurt her"!! and I ran after the truck as long as I could sobbing and calling her name. Yes...losing a pet for anyone is so sad but for a child ..extra hard trying to process the shock..and grief and questions ...so many questions.
I still think of her and miss her.❤

Loved this film which was Change of Habit - he played a doctor in a Ghetto - was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and moved to Memphis in 1948. Lots of fans managed to get hold of the sweatshirt that Elvis was wearing and loved him looking "normal" as you say. Love the song as well - such a good feel song 🎶💙🎵

I actually like this song. And this movie was very opposite of what he had been making. He probably told Colonel, if I'm going to agree to do this movie, I will not be chasing girls on the beach and singing 10 cheesy songs. I believe this movie was part of the Singer deal. But I could be wrong. BTW the little girl had autism. So this was very progressive for its time.
