They are taking stuff from previous films that were not used. The three killer idea was originally for scream two. Mrs. Loomis with Hallie and Derek instead. Hopefully scream seven mirrors. The original idea for scream three which was stalker, returning with a cult, which is where I think they’re going with the multiple killers there’s no way that was just Quinn and Gail’s apartment. Kirby is the most beloved character in Scream 4 and she was left to die, but we never saw her dead body. Wes Craven, a few years later, said on Twitter about her: "No body, no death", or something like that. This was probably the biggest debate within the fandom since 2011: Kirby, dead or alive?
You didn't notice, but in Scream 5, when Richie is watching a CZcams channel, a photo of Kirby and the title "Interview with Woodsboro survivor, Kirby Reed" appear in the suggested videos. It was a moment of euphoria on the internet for confirmation that the legend is alive.
Chad is the real final girl that we never asked for nor expected.😂😂

Fun fact in scream 5 when richie was watching youtube videos there was a video suggestion that confirmed kirby survived! Kirby’s fate was purposefully left undecided in case wes wanted to bring her back

Blake’s protectiveness of Gale Weathers is my vibe! I felt the same way during this movie in the theater, and Blake captured the same tension and apprehension I had. Almost walked out when Gale appeared to die! Your genuine reactions and facial expressions were super fun to watch guys!
I personally enjoyed the fact that the killers turned out to be the previous killer’s family as a reflection of Scream 2 when Billy’s mom is a killer. Beyond that, each individual killer was a callback to each Scream 2 killer: Billy’s Mom-> Richie’s Dad, Mickey (friend of Syd’s love interest)-> Ethan (friend of Tara’s love interest), and Quinn being Tara and Sam’s roommate reflects the original script of Scream 2 where Hallie (Syd’s roommate) was one of the killers, but due to script leaks they had to change it.
Yeah but for Scream 3 it was a long lost sibling Sydney didn’t know about. So for Scream 7 are they gonna say that Billy got another person pregnant as well and this person is gonna be pissed that Sam is getting attention from the media so they come till kill her. I’d have to say that’ll be a bit ridiculous. But hopefully they’ll do something else.

I hoped that the second trilogy would go back to something in Scream 3. Something that has not been right from the start.
Some scenes do not completely work out with just one killer. Like the time when Sidney apparently hallucinates that her "mother's corpes" under the blanket. Roman later recalls that at the screening room. So, it is not a hallucination. But it is also questionable that Toman ran back up the stairs and quickly put the blanket over himself.
This and other instances lead us to assume that Roman killed off his accomplice without revealing them. And it is probably Angelina. She was caught with "movie memorabilia", could have sabotaged the gas at Jennifer's house, and she tried to lure Jennifer and Gale into the secret passages.
But I think that the next movie would have dealt with Sam and her hallucinations.
At the end of this movie she seemingly decides to leave Billy behind as she leaves his mask behind BUT just like she assumed Bailey's motive for killing him - "you effed with my family" - she also weirdly takes on his signature: leaving behind the Ghostface mask at the crime scene.
Courteney Cox/Gale Weathers, as of Scream 6, is now the longest running female lead in a horror franchise!

Blake's expression during Ghost Face's fight with Gale was like he was at a loved one's funeral. I've rarely seen someone that invested in a fictional character.

Scream 6 has my fav version of Ghostface, so relentless and crazy I love it. And this movie made Sam my favourite killer in the franchise.
I’ve watched dozens of reactors watch this whole series and you guys were by far my favorite for this franchise. The fact that’s it’s four of you who have never seen any of the movies and the combination of having genuine and funny reactions and editing the videos to where so much of he movie is still shown plus the commentary made you guys my go to when wanting to watch people watch this. If it’s any way possible to reupload your scream 2 reaction so I can binge them all from the beginning would be great. Great videos guys.

Great call by the second guy on Quinn and her Dad. In hindsight, the clues were there, Quinn talks about her dead brother, the calls were coming from Richie's phone, the knives being gone (quinn was the roommate who would have access to do that), etc....

Scream 6 they totally outdid themselves. The suspense scenes from the great opening, to the perfect scenes with the store sequence all the way through the subway.
Fun fact: Scream 6 won an award for Best Fight (Gale Weathers vs. Ghostface). Anyway, Blake, I think we share the same feeling here. Your reaction is definitely my reaction, and I love that you keep protecting Gale. I also think that she has the best character development. People started the series hating her and ended up rooting for her. Anyway, I love the Core Four, but the original trio hits different: Sidney (the fighter), Gale (the smart one), and Dewey (the brave one). Nice reaction, guys!
I love the core 4 and the actors, but they will never reach the greatness and the status on popular culture of the original trio or even the original core 4, when Randy is included.

Why would Gail leave the "safety" of her locked bedroom and attack Ghostface head on? Guilt and rage. This is the 6th time this has happened and last time Dewey died alone without Gail to protect him, she wasn't going to let this Ghostface target anybody else on her watch - kinda fierce for a character to #1 survive THIS long consecutively in a horror franchise (Laurie Strode did die once between her 6 movies) and #2 to have this kind of arc where her growth isn't stated, its shown.
Gale is my favorite! After such a strong fight, she deserved to live 💙
Which of the three killers was active and/or committed which murders can be figured out if paying close attention to where they were each time:
Greg Brockner and Jason Carvey's murders: Likely Detective Bailey, as Quinn was at the apartment with a guy and Ethan was at the frat party with Chad. With Jason it's very obviously one killer (Det. Bailey), but as for Greg it's possible all three killers took part because mutilating his corpse and stuffing it into the fridge would be too much work for one person.
Sam & Tara's attack/Bodega murders: Det. Bailey, as both Quinn and Ethan were in the apartment with the rest of the group.
Dr. Stone's murder: Likely Det. Bailey, since that same morning Quinn and Ethan are with everyone else at the park.
Quinn's boyfriend and Anika's murder (along with Quinn's fakeout): Det. Bailey and possibly Ethan at the same time as he could have snuck out of class.
Sam's second phone call: Quinn, who was hiding in Gale's penthouse to lure them there, as Bailey was in the park with Sam and Tara, and Ethan was in the police van with Kirby, Chad and Mindy.
Gale's phone call, Brooks' murder and Gale's attack: Quinn, as she both admitted to being responsible and was already in the apartment making the call to lure them in. Det. Bailey and Ethan were also both at the park with Sam, Tara and Kirby.
Mindy's attack: Quinn, as she admitted to attacking Mindy. Ethan was also on the subway and Det. Bailey was at the police station.
Kirby's attack: Quinn and Ethan, as Kirby confirmed that "they" attacked her and they were the two masked in the theatre.
Chad's attack: Quinn and Ethan because they were wearing masks.
Neve Campbell didn't reprise her role as Sidney Prescott due to a salary dispute with Paramount. That means, as of this movie, Courteney Cox and Roger Jackson (Ghostface voice) are the only actors that are in every movie. Coincidentally this is the first time they talk on the phone.
In the previous movie when Richie is watching a video about Stab 8 the top recommended video is "Interview with Woodsboro survivor Kirby Reed", confirming that Kirby did indeed survive.
The biggest giveaway that Det. Bailey is one of the killers is in the police station after the conversation with Kirby when he turns around to look at her and he's framed against the murder wall. He's literally in a line of Ghostfaces.
There was a line in the original script spoken by Det. Bailey, Ethan and Quinn explaining where their mother is; She refused to go along with their plan and they killed her.
It's easy to miss but Quinn's body moves after her supposed death.
Chad was originally stabbed 14 times in the theatre. They digitally removed/edited half of the stabs because people thought it was ridiculous that he survived that.
Jasmin Savoy Brown improvised her "fuck this franchise" line and Jenna Ortega improvised Tara punching Gale.
It was Jenna Ortega who reminded the filmmakers that her character had asthma as it was not mentioned in the original script.
Jack Champion was cast as Ethan due to his resemblance to Jack Quaid (Richie in the previous movie).
For the projection of a fictional movie made by Richie, some of the footage shown is actually from Jack Quaid's real-life home videos mixed with footage filmed for the movie.
Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett appear for a split second in the subway scene. Bettinelli-Olpin is dressed as Kurt Cobain and Gillett has a fake butcher knife through his head.
Some easter eggs/references:
This movie paralells Scream 2 in many ways. The survivors have moved out of Woodsboro to attend college in a big city, the killers are avenging the death of a family member from the previous movie and both finales take place in a theatre. Furthermore, the characters' slow crawl across the ladder and Tara & Sam driving like crazy after stealing Det. Bailey's car are both shot in similar ways to Sidney & Hallie's kidnapping and their crawling over the unconscious GF after he crashes the car. Anika's position when she falls and lands is nearly identical to Cici Cooper's death. The way the GF robes are presented on the theater shrine is a nod to when Sidney is on stage as Helen of Troy and her acting classmates surround her in robes and masks. Tara watching Chad being stabbed and the end reveal of his survival paralells when Gale watches Dewey being stabbed and the end reveal of his survival. Lastly, Kirby being shot in the theatre finale and popping back up for the climactic GF faceoff like Gale was a pure coincidence.
Still Alive by Demi Lovato, the song played in the ending credits, was co-written by Lovato, Laura Veltz and Mike Shinoda, co-founder of Linkin Park (who is also the song's producer). At the end of Scream (2022) when Sam sees Billy's reflection in the window of the police car, the music playing is New Horizons by Brian Tyler, but if you listen carefully you can hear the melody to Still Alive. It is unclear if they sampled it or if the similarities are a mere coincidence.
GF being revealed at the start and then targeted by another another GF is sort of a revival of an idea planned for a Scream 4 sequel that never happened. Originally, Jill (GF from that movie) would have survived and been targeted by another GF.
The idea of more than 2 killers is not new to the franchise. In Scream 2, there were 3 killers in the original script: Derek, Hallie and Nancy Loomis. The infamous script leak forced rewrites to remove Derek and Hallie as killers, leaving only Nancy Loomis, along with Mickey Altieri who was added.
The shot of two GF killers (Ethan and Quinn) standing together in the same frame, a first in the franchise, before attacking Sam and Tara is an homage to the unused ending of Scream 3 where Sidney would fight Roman and Angelina together.
Tara has a scar on the back of her hand from where the knife went through in the opening scene of the previous movie (they made a point of showing the scar at 27 mins).
At 1:04:24 into the movie, when Gale is showing the other characters the movie theatre being used as a GF shrine, it shows GF painted on a wall with the words "What'5 your favorite scary movie?" This is a giveaway that the killer(s) are connected to Scream 5.
The decision to have Quinn be the GF to kill Gale's boyfriend was partly inspired by some of the criticism the filmmakers got for having Amber kill Dewey in the previous movie.
Ethan's line "I always wanted to stick something in you Tara!" is a nod to Stu's line "I always had a thing for ya Sid!" from the original.
Danny's (cute boy) full name is Danny Brackett, a nod to Annie Brackett, one of Laurie Strode's friends from the original Halloween.
Jack/Ethan was actually wearing the costume for some of the scenes of Anika's attack / Quinn's fake death. So that whole attack was Ethan.
Anyway since the killers all shared Billy's mask until the final, it is most logical that the mask was passed along daily, and that every day another killer was active.
1st day was Bailey
2nd day was Ethan
3rd day Quinnn before they all met at the theater.
I think it’s funny cause when Sam said “He was a man baby who made his girlfriend do all the killing” is actually false. Richie and Amber both killed 3 people. Richie killed Vince, Wes, and the officer, and Amber killed Dewey, Judy and Liv.

Scream 2 explained how Gale could write a book about a killer and not recognize his parent.
This one just ignored that gaping plot hole... but times 3.

Great reaction guys! The Scream franchise has to be my favorite horror series of all time. It's like the people of Woodsboro can't escape the wrath of ghost face. Also I'm pretty surprised Tara is still alive after what happened to her in the last movie.

Gale's fighting scene was amazing! I loved this movie. But Chad being alive is so... plot armor and "pushing it". He got stab in the heart!

A reason why there was a person dressed as Mojo Jojo is because the voice actor of Ghostface also voiced Mojo Jojo.
The killers were the same as the second Scream movie. The film nerds and the murder's family.
I knew that they weren't going to kill Gale off because when the opening credits were rolling they stated that Courtney Cox was also a producer on this one and there was no way she was going to allow Gale to be killed off.
Courteney actually asked Wes Craven to be killed in Scream 4, it was her only demand to be on that film, and Wes said yes. Then they had a change of heart and decided to keep her, that's why she's gone after her stabbing wound. The hospital scenes were filmed in reshoots after they were done with the original filming. I think Courteney will eventually ask to be killed again, so she can say a proper goodbye to the franchise. It's just impossible to imagine ghostface coming back and Gale not trying to cover the story and find out who it is, only if she was dead.
Gales whole scene is my favourite and I loved watching all four of you watching it and reacting xxx

4. Sidney Prescott
As much as I love Sid, her story has been told and isn't as multi layer as the other Scream final girls imo.
I beg to differ. She had a mother with a lot of secrets, then her mother gets murdered and she puts away the wrong guy, she grows as a character with each movie.
Now take someone like Laurie Strode; all we know about her parents is her dad was in real estate, she's got a crazy brother (in some timelines), and in some timelines, she's stuck in 1978 and hasn't moved on with her life.
Laurie is just one of example of how Sidney is more interesting as a character like than a LOT of other final girls. Just my take.

I gotta say, this is an _incredibly_ bittersweet moment for me. The Scream films are my all-time-favorite franchise as I genuinely love all 6 movies. And watching reactions to the them has become somewhat of a comforting/relaxation thing for me, provided the reactors are any good/fun.
And let me just tell ya, rewatching the franchise with you 4 has been an absolute BLAST! Believe me when I say that I’ve looked forward to each and every video release. So while I’m thrilled that you guys have finally made it to 6 (Personally, it’s one of my favorites in the franchise simply because it’s so much fun!), I’m also bummed that you guys (obviously) won’t be reacting to anymore Scream films… for now!
Speaking of going forward in the franchise… I really don’t know how to feel about Scream 7 and beyond. Like I said, I love every single one of these movie, but getting us so invested in the Core 4 over the course of the last 2 films only to fire Melissa, prompting Jenna to quit (I don’t care what she _said_ her reason was, she 100% left because of Melissa’s firing.), both of which I’m *sure* will lead to Jasmin and Mason not returning (I’m not sure how a movie featuring Mindy & Chad _without_ Sam & Tara would work anyway.), well, it feels bad, man.
I *love* Neve and Courtney, and provided that they’re able to somewhat realistically work them into the scripts (And they pay them what they’re worth.), I’d be thrilled to see them in any and all installments moving forward. But I also think that they’ve majorly shot themselves in the foot.
Yes, they _are_ trying tirelessly to get Neve back for 7. And, yes, all of the die-hard Scream fans will be thrilled to see Sid back in action. But the more casual viewers aren’t really gonna care all that much. And I personally believe that, while - yes, the die-hard Scream fans certainly helped with its success, it was the casual viewers, the people who’d never seen a Scream film at all before, the folks who’d only ever seen the first film, and those who saw the first Scream and maybe 1 or 2 of the sequels who really made Scream 6 as big as it was.
And, again IMHO, what (I should say _”the person who”,_ really.) brought all of those people in was Jenn’s Ortega. As great as Neve and Courtney are (Especially in the Scream universe.) and as awesome as it was to see Hayden Panettiere again, none of them are bringing any fresh blood into the theaters to see the new Scream films.
As great/fun/enjoyable as Scream 6 was, I genuinely believe that they got so, SO lucky with it being released so shortly after Wednesday came out. (Particularly because Wednesday and Jenna Ortega specifically blew up and became HUGE.) Thus in one boneheaded move they got rid of their awesome new series lead _and_ they lost their MEGA star-power. (Even if they _do_ get Neve back.) Not to mention the fact that they lost their new director, whom I thought matched the tone of the Scream films pretty perfectly and would’ve done a phenomenal job! But I digress.
I apologize for my long ass dissertation on the future of the Scream franchise taking place in y’all’s comment section. lol. As a HUGE Scream fan this is the first time that I’ve actually been worried about any upcoming installments to the point where I honestly think that I’d rather them just not make any for the time being.
Oops. I can tell that I’m about to go off on another tangent so I’m gonna STFU real quick. lol.

I assumed he was the killer, but I didn't think Quinn was a fakeout, I just thought he killed her thinking the sacrifice would be worth the coverup. Melissa and Jenna were amazing in the movie though, need them for 7. ;w;
Oh my gosh you guys, you made it, this is definitely my favourite in the franchise some really innovative and creative stuff in this one. You should definitely checkout THE BABADOOK scariest film out there in my opinion and a horror show i thin you’d all like is American horror story some amazing acting and story telling in the show, what ever you watch excited to see it and watch the channel grow.

I love this movie so much. I think the golden chainsaw goes to Anika because that death was just brutal. She is one of my favorite characters and definitely in the top 3 deaths in my opinion. Not only was a sad case of bad timing, but it was also just so prolonged. She got gutted, was bleeding out and then when she was crossing the ladder, Ghostface didn't just pull the ladder away, he played with it first and then flipped her. Then she didn't just hit the ground, she had to hit her head on the dumpster first. I think that's the first time we could actually say that Ghostface tortured a victim. Like, he always prolongs it, but that was way longer than usual and definitely more gruesome. The actress Devyn Nekoda did an amazing job in just the little bit a screen time she had. I kind of wish she had survived just so we could've seen her and Mindys dynamic in Scream 7, but I get that she died for the body count. It also speaks to the writing and portrayal of the character because I've heard so many people say that they loved Anika as a character and wanted to see more of her. It says a lot about the writers and actors to have so many people loving a character with such short screen time.

Dewey's death was a hard pill to swallow.
Put something together for the first time, when Samara took the shot Igli said “Killers don’t drink” and then later Ethan spit his shot out. Prob intentional detail, very slick.

Now, for anyone who finds it unbelievable that some of these characters have survived their injuries, let me just say that it is actually realistic. Like the case of Alison Botha, South Africa - 1994. Kidnapped, and intimately assaulted her by two devil worshipers. They tried choking her to death, but failed. They stabbed her 30+ times in the abdomen, 16 times in the neck. She had to wrap a shirt around her stomach to hold her intestines inside, and when she lost her vision because her head started slipping, she had to hold her nearly-decapitated head in place, on her shoulders.
I saw a talk show where a guy was being interviewed. He had survived having half his head blown off with a shotgun. Ever since seeing that, I can believe people surviving just about anything ESPECIALLY in a movie.

I don't understand how you felt so comfortable writing all that when the criticism is not about what horrible attack can a human survive.
The point is, if you are not gonna kill your character, you don't need to write a scene like that. It's bad writing. It's a fake out and doesn't come across as authentic.
What would you say if a movie depicts an attack like the one you just describe just for the victim to survive? Would that feel necessary to you?

I think this one is the most brutal & intense out of the series they also did a good job with paying homages and bringing Kirby a fan favorite back. But I know some major problems people had with this was how too many people survived including Chad which was unrealistic. Also kinda sucks that we finally got 3 killers but it just wasn’t well executed, I thought they were pretty weak compared to all the other ghostfaces besides detective Bailey.

Scream 6 is a lot of fun with great suspense sequences, but when you scratch beneath the surface it is the most poorly written instalment with huge plot holes, insane character armour, the most obvious killers and a script that is literally just an exact retread of Scream 2 - main characters in college, vengeful family members as the killers and a showdown in a theatre.
How did they not guess the villains in this one. It was super obvious from the go, they even telegraph the motive practically telling you that the girl was Richie's brother. The Cop was terribble and obviously the killer from the moment he is on screen

The monologue of Sam talking in the kitchen about being hated was also a shot at viewers as the actual actress got a lot of hate for her acting in Scream 5. Honestly I have to admit I was one of the ones who wasn’t the biggest fan of her acting but she definitely redeemed herself in this one

The internet is so quick to hate because in this movie many people loved Sam so much then started sending death threats to Jenna and turning on Tara even though many loved her in part 5.

The directors for these two films were definitely a bit on a ego trip when discussing criticism of the films.
They acknowledge that everyone's either surviving ridiculous injuries, or physically unaffected by injuries and that they could have done more with that, but who cares about logic.
While the previous four films had a couple iffy suspension of disbelief moments, it still did their best to be cemented in logic most of the time... these two films on the other hand...
I cheered when Blake said he was shipping Chad and Tara because, yup, same, lol. I saw that first scene with just the two of them and there was a vibe and that was it. I shipped it.
Cojo nailing who one of the killers is within their first couple of scenes continues! Loved that.
Courtney Cox was the first person to sign back on for this movie. She joked she loves Gale Weathers so much that she'd play her for free. I don't know if they'll even go forward with Scream 7 now that they've fired Melissa and Jenna dropped out but if they do, I think we'll still have Gale. I know someone commented on what the original ending for Scream 4 was with Jill getting what she wanted and how Scream 5 was originally going to be the killer going after Jill in college while Sidney was a professor and had no memory about what had happened at the end of 4. But I don't think anyone told you what Kevin Williamson revealed Scream 6 would've been if he'd gotten to stick to his original plan for a second trilogy. Scream 6 would've had Sidney in it but he revealed that Gale would've been the main focus and it would've explored her and Dewey's relationship and what happened to them. As much as I love what we did get for 5 & 6, I can't help but wonder how that would've gone.
Also, little shout out to Scream 2 in this one (other than what was in the shrine, I mean)! Cici was in the Windsor College chapter of Omega Beta Zeta in that one. Date rape Frankie asks Tara if she's a part of Omega Beta Zeta here so there's at least one NYC chapter of that sorority.
Sam is so damn savage when she drags Richie in front of his family. She just completely trash talks all of them. I absolutely loved that as well as Chad's "Smile for the camera, motherf**ker" and "Beheadings!". Danny aka Cute Boy is a solid love interest. I actually think that it's not impossible for Chad to have lived. Despite the fact that it was Ethan and Quinn stabbing him, they stabbed him less times than Sam stabbed Richie and their dad. So I buy that he lived. I enjoyed the hell out of all your Scream reactions! Definitely going to have to check out your other stuff!
So, i know the franchise is in question right now, but i was hoping that the next Carpenter sisters installment would have the killers be a literal cult led by Stu Macher and a family member of Sam's.
I know a lot of people probably think I'm nuts, but it would track with the direction the franchise was going. Since its mirroring the original trilogy: 1). Killers are film obsessed psychopaths, 2). At least one killer is related to the previous, 3). Killer is estranged family member of the protagonist.
Also, in Scream 3, there are rumors that instead of it just being Roman, there were going to be a cult of Ghostface Killers and Stu returning was supposedly on the table, so I think my theory may hold water here.
Retconning Stu's death is just a bad idea. Wes Craven was massively against retconning deaths. So I think bringing Stu back would be a slap to his face.
@@Joker_JAK Stu was never confirmed to be dead within the series. Also, if you rewatch his death scene, its implied that the tv falling on him didn't kill him, but if he died, its by electrocution. In horror movies, you can be eletrocuted and live as long as we don't see things like the head igniting or exploding. You just hear him make as sound that isn't typically a death sound, but a sound you hear when someone has passed out.
There's also the bit where after the first movie, it seems to be either forgotten or less widely known that Stu was a killer. People only seem to talk about Billy unless its the core characters bringing it up. Look into it, there's a lot to indicate that he never actually died. Mindy even mentions it in Scream 6.
@@m00shminki88I don't need to look anything up. I know these movies better than most people. In the original script for Scream, Stu was shot in the head. It was only changed because Craven wanted him to have a more creative death. Craven confirmed Stu's death on the commentary for Scream. The idea to bring Stu back for part 3 would have been a retcon of his death. Craven was against it and was glad it was changed. He said that death needs to matter in these movies and once they start retconning deaths then that means anyone can come back and death means nothing. They also didn't confirm (in following movies) that Mickey, Mrs. Loomis, Roman, Jill, or Charlie are dead either (until Part 6). Just because they didn't say Stu was dead doesn't mean he wasn't dead. Plus, the reason people only mentioned Billy and not Stu all the time was because Billy was the mastermind. Stu was just his lackey. He didn't matter. Also, Radio Silence actually created crime scene photos depicting Stu's death. They were going to be on the tv behind Sam in Part 5 while she's telling everyone that Billy is her father. However, they thought it would be too distracting, so they were removed. However, those photos still exist online. In Scream 6, they confirm Stu's death multiple times. In the police station it says he died under his picture. Radio Silence said that they had Kirby kill Ethan with the same tv that killed Stu to show that Stu is definitely dead. Mindy's line "if you believe he's dead" was just to poke fun at all the people who actually think he survived.
Having said all that, they COULD retcon Stu's death in the future. Anything is possible. They could retcon every death if they wanted. However, it WOULD be a retcon and that was something that Craven was against.

They are all “scary” movies that aren’t really that scary. And more in line with the Scream franchise in the sense that it is technically horror but it is more about the story and mystery with some thrilling tense scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen.
You guys should 100% watch the vampire diaries!
I thought scream 6 was a big improvement over scream 5. New interesting setting with New York, a creative opening compared to the last movies where they are just in houses only scream 2 has it’s opening in a different location having the killer be revealed killing someone’s in a public alley way than killed by the main ghostface was really awesome/refreshing, the kills were actually pretty gory with 4 standouts, ghostface was at his scariest, great chase/tense sequences, the core 4 developed sm as characters especially Sam and Mindy, loved the shrine, loved that for once they mentioned the previous killers since they would only ever talk about billy and Stu but completely ignore the murder sprees that happened after that, great phone calls, love that ghostface was attacking in public like scream 2, cool that we got 3 killers for the first time, loved seeing Kirby again, Gale’s sequence was awesome, I thought the killers were better than Richie and Amber but really only Quinn is the standout she gave a serious performance while the other 2 were pretty cringe. When it comes to the negatives Mindy or Chad should’ve died more so Mindy bc having her die like her uncle in a public place would’ve been so poetic and Chad was basically annihilated like the plot armor was very strong in this movie cause being stabbed doesn’t really mean anything anymore bc when Wes was in charge any time someone got stabbed once we were all scared but now it’s like oh they got stabbed, killer reveals were pretty easy except quinn she was the only one that caught me off guard, has the most plot holes compared to any scream movie. What’s a shame tho is Melissa was fired for scream 7 for making a statement that’s not even controversial whatsoever and now spyglass is attempting negotiations again with her and Neve Campbell bc they didn’t want to pay Neve what she was worth to show up in scream 6. Scream 7 has a lot of controversy surrounding it and it’s currently set to release in 2025.
