The year-round beauty of the Swiss Alps is known to all but The Chedi Andermatt, sitting some 1,447 metres above sea level, is something special. It’s a place that sits among the traditional ski chalets of Andermatt but it’s a world of clean-lined modernism, intriguing Asian aesthetics and fireplace-warmed spaces as imagined by architect Jean-Michel Gathy. The decor is all granite and dark woods, and in the restaurants, the hotel offers Swiss favorites as much as a tour of Asia with its all-day dining and two Michelin-starred Japanese restaurants.
In this new episode of The Visit, we follow Ivan and Rouslan Lartisien, co-founders of Grand Luxury, as they discover The Chedi Andermatt, a unique hotel.

Wonderful place! It reminds me a little of a part in Tyrol where I spent some relaxing days two years ago, the Zillertal. Of course, there is no hotel being able to match the Chedi but the landscape, the mountains and the local products are about the same. The milk, cheese and meat produced by local farmers and their "happy cows" tasted like heaven. My dog Charlie would really enjoy strolling the immense meadows, little rivers and even the cows (from a safe distance, of course). Thank you so much!

Thank you for bringing us into a universe and telling us about your travels! We could imagine this pretty picture of Charlie running next to the cows...😊

If I would like to know the names of Japanese chefs and cooks who work in Chedi,
how am I able to find them, please?
I've tried to look on the internet but there's no mention of even a single Japanese working there.
