It's so common (and ordinair) to hide a personal preference behind an assumed more general smokescreen, which in this kind of case turns out to be nothing else than a conspiracy theory. Comer was the clear meant to be winner, wasn't she. Secret forces managed to take the award from her. Scandal! they cried out loud (totally ignorant, by the way, towards the momentum at the time - how to was the hot movie; and totally oblivious towards the 100,000 films with bellowing mothers to be, women in labour, ...).
Jodie Comer got snubbed. Can't imagine how upset this must make her.
Jodie is a brilliant actress yes, but she’s already won so many awards, this was Mia’s first, maybe don’t be a rude bastard
