  • Today we’re talking to Fr. Chad Ripperger, an exorcist priest. Obviously, he’s on the front lines of some intense spiritual warfare, but it’s taught him a lot that everyday Catholics like you and me can use to fight in our own struggles. I know exorcism is a serious topic, but don’t worry. This is not a scary episode. You’ll be amazed by Fr. Ripperger’s stories of God’s power and providence and how not even demons can thwart God’s plan for us.

By God's grace, all 11 of my now adult children remain practicing Catholics. If there is anything I may have done that helped lead to this, the only thing I can think of is that I always stayed in the pew after Mass for several minutes (at least) to kneel and pray silently.
Also we homeschooled all the children.

At a very low point in my life around the age of 20 I was home licking my wounds from a horrible beating I had received from my husband. He was an illegal alien from Greece and treated me like gold for a whole year before we married, I left. One night after coming home to my parents house with depression beyond anything I’d ever had before I went to sleep. In the middle of the night I felt an awakening not with a noise or a touch. It felt like a tremendous hand that came down and covered my whole body and lifted. When I woke in the morning I felt different, I felt that I could bring myself up and live. To this day I can’t explain this, mostly because it was a feeling of complete love and expectance of myself. I had never had depression again and went on to be a successful person, I’m going to say I thank God! Thank you Jesus!

In middle school, my friends and I visited an extremely old grave yard in Maryland where some known occultists from the 1800s were buried that had made human sacrifices, as it was well documented in police records. It is a known place to be "spooky" and "haunted" amongst kids. While we were there, we found their graves and, long story short, we basically mocked the demon that they worked with. I have goosebumps as I recall this and write it. That night I woke up in the middle of the night and saw three dark figures in my room with a candle in the middle of them. I could not see their faces, but a high-pitched voice said "where is your God?". I blinked and they were gone. I chalked it up as a dream since we had been there that night and all scared each other.
Years later, I was talking to one of my friends who was there that night and his face went pale as he said he had the same dream that same night. We then reached out to the other 2 people there and they also said they dreamt the exact same thing. Again, I have goosebumps right now as I right this. Most haunting thing I have ever witnessed, as I now realize I was likely face to face with demons. But, I am covered in the Blood. And eternally protected by the Son.

St Peter himself fell at the feet of Jesus and begged Him, depart from me for I am a sinful man. And what of the criminal crucified next to Jesus? Our Lord Himself told us in Scripture, that this man is now a saint in heaven.

Yes, my dearest sweet Jeanne d’Arc. I am devoted to her.Took a train from Paris to Rouen last time I was there just to pay homage to her at her place of execution. Prayed the Rosary at the chapel there and kissed the Cross arising from the spot of her martyrdom. Then I walked to the Cathedral after visiting the museum and did further devotion. While there I was slightly fatigued so I accidentally leaned against an sarcophagus sculpture. But I realized it was a tomb. I made my apologies and remarked well who are you .
The inscription in Latin was this
…..Hic Cor Corditum Est Ricardi Anglorum Regis Qui Cor Leonis Dictus Obit An M C XC IX……
I then reflected on my abysmal Latin and said.
‘Well fancy meeting you here ! I had no idea you were here associated , with my beloved Jeanne.
What a treat from one Richard to the other ! May God bless you ! ‘
I committed prayers to Richard the Lion-heart, King of England , now happily in glory.

It concerned an incident that occurred when the priest was still a young boy, growing up in a different country on a different continent. Furthermore, he stated an exact sum of money and the fact that I’d been chased and by a particular type of dog on my way to a specific train station. I was dumbstruck, but the priest didn’t seem to realize anything unusual had just happened. He asked if I was ready to make my Act of Contrition, or had I forgotten it.

Put my weakness and lack of discipline into a whole different perspective, and made me realize I’m not going to get control of myself without Christ’s help. We don’t think of things like bad diet or vaping as demonically influenced, but who is controlling your thoughts feelings and actions when you lose control of yourself? Spooky question to consider.
