I think it looks great and you did a great job with it. I wonder if rocks like that with many vugs, cracks, and crevices could be filled with clear acrylics such as you see people do with wood tables, countertops, and such.
Gorgeous stone and I like that you showed what it looked like in the field! What a metamorphosis…Do you think the mixed hardness of the rock contributed to it being difficult to shape?
The colors and details are great, still a winner in my book!
Thanks so much!
Absolutely fantastic cab Scott!!
Thank you Mike!
Wow did not see that coming out so awesome. Love it
Thank you Jerry!😁
Gorgeous ❤
Thanks so much Jeannie!
Challenging rock I think it was worth the work. Looks nice.
Thank you! It turned out ok all things considered 🤔

Thanks! I’m certain the slabs could be coated to make them more sound and shiny. That would look pretty cool!

It definitely doesn’t help!😁
Here's my "duhm" question, is there a clear filler that you can use on stones like this? Legit wondering.
I believe there are fillers that could be used but I’ve never tried them. Thanks for watching !
You done good! I like the way the red mossy (?) side balances with the darker side, a nice asymmetrical balance.🪨🌟(Rock Star)!
Thanks so much Leanna, I sure appreciate you watching!
