I went to the Luis Miguel concert in Denver. It was out of this world. We danced, we cried what a gem. El Sol de México! (The Sun of México, a nickname his mother gave him as a child).

It´s about a beautiful and proud woman who walks through the town alone, and who spends her nights pining for someone who has come and gone. The music came first, and later someone put words to it. It´s quite old. It´s also a song we play every year between September and November in Mexico, which are the months of our Independence and Revolution. It is considered a sort of national anthem. But no one does it better than Luismi.

You may be in luck! Because unlike our beloved and most precious legendary gem Juan Gabriel, Luis Miguel is still with us. AND! He just announced a 2023 tour! He's much older now obviously since this performance you reacted to, but his voice is still exquisite. I don't think tour dates have been announced yet, but if you're willing to go to Mexico, you may be able to experience his voice live. I wouldn't doubt if he adds dates in the U.S. as well. At least probably L.A, NYC, Miami, and/or Vegas.
Btw, just a bit of background, Luis Miguel has been singing/acting since he was a young boy. He was a huge child star - was known more for pop - and then matured into a more traditional balladeer, but with his youthful pop flair. I don't think of him at all like a Michael Jackson, though it sounds like that comparison was more due to popularity and not musical style. He's more like a pop Frank Sinatra. Random side note, he was with Mariah Carey for a few years after her first divorce
