    The new chimera monster can send any beast, fiend or illusion monster to grave. This means you can mix it with tribrigade, since you can send kitt to graveyard, dump nerval and search. It also means that you can run more monster floodgates by dumping them then reviving them with chimera phantom beast grave effect during the opponents turn. You can play invader of darkness, makes life hard for runick and purrely. You can play end of anubis for any graveyard strategy. There are probably other ones too.

    • @ozzyb6595
      @ozzyb6595 Před 11 měsíci +3

      The main concern with Tri-brigade is that Berfomet locks you into fusions for the rest of the turn. You wouldn’t be able to link climb like you would. I never understood why people would mix the two. Unless you do your tribrigade lines first. Too risky.

    • @wyattlim1470
      @wyattlim1470 Před 11 měsíci

      @@ozzyb6595 this is true. Most of the time you won't even be summoning berformet for this reason. El exordio has replays of the deck and it looks interesting czcams.com/video/4KMMdGWWRsE/video.html&ab_channel=ElExordiodelDuelista

    • @cantconrolit4444
      @cantconrolit4444 Před 11 měsíci +2

      @@ozzyb6595i play the deck irl and trust me the berfomet lock almost never comes up, cuz like you said you either do your tri combos earlier or you just don't and setup the chimera board, which is not half bad tbh. In fact the new fusion makes it so that you can access all your tri brigade stuff even without opening any name, which is huge.
      Another benefit is that it nicely gives you the option to dodge things like veiler or imperm cuz its materials are so easy to have in hand, which would normally destroy you depending on the hand
      I'm telling you this new fusion is bonkers

    Swordsoul, under the right pilot, it can still hold its own. And I mean Tenyi Swordsoul. Between the recursion, toolbox of removing problem cards on the field and variety of extra deck monsters, it's still not dead. Plus with the handful of flex spots for tech and the sideboard, it can still push its way through today's meta.

    One thing to mention: Sinful Spoils also gives R-ACE access to synchro plays. Being able to search for a tuner like Jet Synchron to make a Savage Dragon or Baronne allows for additions disruption & negates during your opponent’s turn.

    • @MSTTV
      @MSTTV  Před 11 měsíci +3

      That variant is very interesting, I've been looking into it myself, its very OCG inspired and without maxx C it could be incredible and remove the need for Iblee, But the lines are too long, it exposes extra choke points making the board weaker. I've always preferred shorter combos even if it has less of a WOW factor to them. If the combos are equal in Risk, Synchro variants maybe better, but does it also add bricks in the consistency?

    • @Jaganphotos
      @Jaganphotos Před 11 měsíci

      @@MSTTV that’s valid - I personally don’t like the Savage Dragon since it’s possible to accidentally fill up your zones first (I’ve seen it happen).
      I personally have been testing just the Baronne with hydrant at 2 copies vs 3 and Courageous Crimson Chevalier Bradamante as the one tuner to make Baronne with it and Turbulence; the main reason for Bradamante is because I like that it works as a form of boss monster removal and can work with the snake eyes monsters to special summon the boss monster to your side of the field (if a bigger snake eye package is run).
      Overall deck allows for more flexibility with the extra deck post-AGOV

    Definitely Infernoble. Angel ring gives it a free out to DRNM or droplet. It definitely won’t be tier 1 though just from representation alone. The deck is very hard and players probably won’t want something that difficult for 10+ rounds.

    For Tears, while I’m excited for Horus. I’m also extremely excited for the Visas Samsara so we can play the small scareclaw engine to go into diabolantis and astraloud for the zombie vampire. What about mannadium?

  • @turtle-bot3049
    @turtle-bot3049 Před 11 měsíci +3

    One deck that may pop up into rogue status is cyber dragon spright.
    Not many will know what it does so won't know how to beat it. The cyber dragon engine pairs nicely with the melffy spright deck giving it a lot of in-engine utility options and consistency with some nasty end boards (4-6 interruptions including 1-2 Omni negates backed by hand traps).
    It has a 1 card out to the unchained board that doesn't destroy (won't trigger unchained effects).
    The deck has a decent tear matchup too, I was playing it at ycs Sydney during full power ishizu tear format and went X-1 against tear (only reason I didn't top/bubble was a misplay on my part, the deck was good all day).
    Rescue ace is a decent match up as well, since a lot of them are machines.
    The deck has room for a lot of non engine too, 12 in a 41 card deck. So it can run enough non engine for harder match ups and side for anything else.
    It has a couple of downsides, droll hurts depending on the opening hand, same with bystials, but droll is moving to the side and bystials play into thrust/talents, so those aren't the biggest concerns.
    It also has a couple of awkward hands that can lose to a single disruption, but it has 12, 1 card starters so the likelihood of not opening something playable is extremely low.

      Not really, the deck still loses hard to Droll, Crow Bystial etc and gains nothing that makes them less fragile. Sure they get 1-card combo but that combo loses out to droll still and now loses out to Nib which was something the deck didn't really lose to post Dune.
      Deck is practically in the same spot it's in post Dune with a really good lvl 6 Synchro. Samsara is really good but he makes you play into Nib, Rumble Synchro is great to search off Crimson but it doesn't really do much that you can't do already.

      But on the flip side, it removes Rage (or Yama from the GY) and banishes Caesar (no materials) or anything else to hinter your link plays + removes itself from the board so it will block a potential Rage even during the next turn.

      its mainly because of 2 things:
      Ban list.
      - No Ariseheart,
      - Less people are playing droll
      - Less Bystials
      - They can win from 1 successful line into an OTK.

    I got out of the game a couple months back. All I see now is rotation of cards that require players to buy new cards. With power creep being a catalyst to spend more money.
    I will say the income I was generating from trading and selling cards is very much missed.

      Beats unchained because they can only link off on your turn with special summon. Gren maju is a normal summon.
      Beats rescues ace and other rouge strategies because D shifter is a win con for gren maju
      Beats purrly because you play Kaijus/lava golems in the deck.
      Beats floo because dangers pick the board apart.

      In a format with other combo decks that can do that or be more consistent. Infernoble has like 12 ROTAs at the min and a high rolling DDW hand can play through like a binder worth of interaction. Being a combo deck means having to compete with Infernoble, Danger Dark World, Rikka Sunavalon, etc. Why play Mannadium over a different combo strategy?

      its always around, its good, but somehow it fits the venn diagram of what other people are siding. Thus leading to them having a harder time games 2 and 3. I think because cross out D is getting more and more popular and the handtrap pool is smaller they should be able to make a comeback in the season

      Why Blackwing?
      Kanak made a point of that deck. He's got the lines down and appropriate end boards.
      Most decks don't get explored to a degree which would be top tier, but some individuals push the deck to their rogue limit.
