Its amazing to see what technology has done to the car industry in such a short time! In the last 10 years there has been so much progression that having a 1000whp street car is more than attainable. In 2004 if you wanted 1000hp it meant a super-laggy non-bearing turbo, a 4 puck clutch that would be impossible to drive in traffic and extremely loud fuel pumps. Now people have 1000+ hp GTR's that are 100% streetable and quiet. Its wild!
The Lambo is actually RWD. UR had lots of breakage problems with the FWD section in these cars when left installed running over 1200HP. The difference is meatier tires and suspension adjustments/upgrades to compensate for the lack of AWD. Don't believe me? Look up clips when KC has them on the dyno at their shop and tell me when you see the front wheels moving.... Kevin has pretty much perfected modding these Lambo's by building bullet proof engines able to take insane amounts of boost from T4 sized turbo's and keep ticking.
Alpha 16 packs 1800 horse power, and UGR 2R packs 1500 HP plus killmode and gets 1800 - on race gas. And this race was fare, cause GT-R is a newer car and it has double clutch tranny with AWD, quit complaining Lambo has advantages over Nissan!
That GTR got a vicious spanking. Imagine if someone actually had to drive the GTR and shift gears like the Lambo....it would have even worse for the GTR!

Really LOVE you guys channel - however, ever thought about using DSLR's for night filming with some fast glass? You have access to some amazing vehicles but the low light noise is really tough and the overall shots seem very underexposed. I know you also are trying to preserve anonymity but I really want to see a 5dMK3 or something of that nature capturing these rides - they are WORTH IT. Love your editing and variety - keep up great work. I am a big fan.

+JSquaredDesigns Hey! I'm a year late, but interesting suggestion. I believe using a fast lens would make it inconvenient to pull the focus constantly. I noticed they said they filmed in 720@60fps, assuming they follow the 180 degree shutter rule, and have their shutter speed set to 1/120, I find that shooting at night traditionally in 1080p@24fps allows for a stop or two more light due to being able to pull the shutter count down to 1/50. Just thought I'd give my two cents because I'm bored.
Around Charlotte you don't see many, and when you do they're usually pulled over by a few cops for doing 20 over. Unless you're filthy stinking rich you're not allowed to illegally race around the interstates here without consequences. It should be noted UGR is from Charlotte and uses the interstates as their test road.
Anthony Blackburn I've ran on those roads many times in my VR-4 and my 300Z TT...and I've never gotten a speeding ticket on any of those roads in Charlotte but then again you have to think. Why go after someone for speeding in a completely legit car when there's all kinds of other shit goin down. Anthony Blackburn When I commuted and it was for work and I made good money, I drove a lot between greensboro and charlotte and charlotte and raleigh...all along i85...SO...here's the thing. I probably averaged 100mph...and most of the tiem I was running about 130MPH in either the Vr4 or the 300zx. I got one ticket in a span of about ten years. And when I got that ticket, they let me go when I was on a suspended license because of a DUI but I wasn't drunk and it was a 94 in 70. BUt I work...i'm respectful to them and I own my cars, I make good money...there's no reason to come after me.

issac njoku Issac, I know what you mean. The issue here is that the UGR Lambo isn't waiting on a 1,2,3 count. He's brake boosting and as soon as he's under full load he takes off, which is a bit disappointing since the GTR is left trying to guess when the Lambo is gonna take off.
Actually the viscous center/front diffs can't take the big hp stuff, so the fast Gallardos are converted to RWD only. Even with the huge weight bias back there and traction control they still can spin.

What do you mean? An Alpha GTR typically has full interior, still has AC, and is pretty mild daily driven. I was skeptical about it's legit.

The UGR's have taken the supra's place. I do have a soft spot for MKIv's though but no chance against some UGR gallardo's.
Around Charlotte you don't see many, and when you do they're usually pulled over by a few cops for doing 20 over. Unless you're filthy stinking rich you're not allowed to illegally race around the interstates here without consequences.
It should be noted UGR is from Charlotte and uses the interstates as their test road.
Anthony Blackburn I've ran on those roads many times in my VR-4 and my 300Z TT...and I've never gotten a speeding ticket on any of those roads in Charlotte but then again you have to think. Why go after someone for speeding in a completely legit car when there's all kinds of other shit goin down. And then, if the said person in the car is legit and works and has money...there's no need to press it. Let him go. Move on and get the dudes that are real criminals.
Anthony Blackburn When I commuted and it was for work and I made good money, I drove a lot between greensboro and charlotte and charlotte and raleigh...all along i85...SO...here's the thing. I probably averaged 100mph...and most of the tiem I was running about 130MPH in either the Vr4 or the 300zx. I got one ticket in a span of about ten years. And when I got that ticket, they let me go when I was on a suspended license because of a DUI but I wasn't drunk and it was a 94 in 70. BUt I work...i'm respectful to them and I own my cars, I make good money...there's no reason to come after me.

issac njoku Issac, I know what you mean. The issue here is that the UGR Lambo isn't waiting on a 1,2,3 count. He's brake boosting and as soon as he's under full load he takes off, which is a bit disappointing since the GTR is left trying to guess when the Lambo is gonna take off.
They need to have to gtr pull first since it seems the lambo is.....not to mention it has a v10 vs I6!!!

Actually the viscous center/front diffs can't take the big hp stuff, so the fast Gallardos are converted to RWD only. Even with the huge weight bias back there and traction control they still can spin.

Why is it that when ever I run across a car video of two different cars racing against each other when it's more then clear what car won that I run into all of these stupid dumb excuses as to why the other car lost? I don't care what kind of cars they are the bottom line is the Lambo kicked the shit out of the other car and I would say the same exact thing if the GT-R won.
