Today (18 years old) Angelina Jordan is no longer a talent, but a world-class singer!
The Norwegian singer, now living in LA, is already an artist for the big occasions with e.g. The new FIFA World Cup's official anthem, in addition to several major performances. Like few artists, she has performed for the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 8 and 17. And 2 shows in Las Vegas ... She is 18 today. 250 songs both covers and original to listen to! She has had many live performances. She was signed to Republic Records at age 14
You can tell this young lady was raised with cameras, they don't phase her at all when they get in her face. Watch her get coquettish with them...just amazing. She will be bigger than what she dreamed about. With all that talent in terms of her voice, she is also super smart and filled with compassion for all those with less. And dear Lord can she sing!
By this time, you probably think you know how good Angelina is. Actually, no. She will continue to blow you away time after time, in genre after genre. Some of my favorite performances are her singing soul with incredible authenticity. Her ability to own the stage with a full band or orchestra behind her is startling.

I have to say this. IMO the best bands Angelina performs with are the ones in Europe. She plays with a hot little band at her live 2022 live performances in Norway.

Angelina Jordan (10 Year Old) - Feeling Good "LIVE on The Stream Gir Tilbake" At only 10 years old, Angelina Jordan delivered a stunning rendition of "Feeling Good" with a talented band on live television. Her voice was powerful, soulful and expressive, surpassing any other version of this song. How many of us can say we achieved such a feat at that age? This performance is simply incredible and showcases her extraordinary talent.
“Feeling Good” was originally written by Anthony Newley, Leslie Bricusse and its first performer, Cy Grant. The song was written for a 1964 musical. That musical was entitled The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd. Nina Simone released her version in June of 1965. It appeared on her album I Put a Spell on You. Although various artists have also covered this song throughout the decades, Simone’s rendition by and large has remained the most popular. Simone’s version of this song was produced by Hal Mooney. Now AJ owns this song!

This performance is one of her absolute best for any age, let alone 10 yo, & it's actually my favorite version of this iconic song by anyone, male or female. A band of this quality playing with a ten year old doesn't happen unless said ten year old has the goods. Angelina is a blessed musician in every way.
Nina Simone's rendition is considered by most to be 'The Gold Standard', but what this 10 year old girl
does here with regard to arrangement of vocals and musicians, takes this to a 'Platinum Standard' for
the song.
FYI, this was a fundraiser and charity concert. Angelina preferred to sing for good causes.

Thank you for a great reaction to this master class from 10 yrs old AJ , this was her vocal arrangement and my favourite version of this song by anyone can't normally say that about a 10yr old but she ain't no normal 10yr old. She was already our queen of jazz here. she had already worked with some of the band members if I recall, I will be corrected if not by other angels. We love her she is the one and only barefoot princess.💜👣💎

Great performance by Angelina. You will agree with me that she has no match in mastering jazz and rendition of this song at her age. She is a rare species of musical gem. I appreciate your insight into jazz and the whole ensemble. Its so educative and inspirational. The instrumentalists are superb. A new subs and an angel from South Afric.
10 years old yeap! A lot of fake artists nowadays and those that require massive production help and corrections. All the legends and great artists of the past didn't require that and singing live was no problem for them. Angelina Jordan is in that category of true talent and unbelievable raw skill. In my opinion there is nothing nowadays, just only a few good talents here and there. Angelina is the next great legend in my opinion, but unfortunately a great legend can't evolve in an industry that is corrupt. Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson are the last great legends that come to my head, she is right there with them, but only just starting. In my opinion Angelina is unfortunate in a way that she was born in this era, where the music industry is rubbish and rubbish is being celebrated more than a young great legend to be.

Thanks for your reaction and analysis. Supposedly, Avicii was going to have Angelina sing "Feeling Good" for a Volvo commercial but he used Audra Mae instead. Some people believe Avicii mixed in some of Angelina's vocals, but we don't know that for certain.

I think that her Las Vegas performance of this was very good (I was there), but this performance at 10 yo is a true masterpiece.

Angelina was a true master from an early age at manipulating diphthongs but I think a lot of her "enunciation idiosyncrasies" are a simple fact of her being Norwegian.
Still to this day, when singing and just getting into the moment, her Nordic heritage involuntarily and occasionally imposes itself.
On the few occasions I've heard her though, it never seems to manifest itself when she is just in casual conversation.

You are right about the subtleties, details and nuances in Angelina’s voice even at a young age. Those are some of the things that make her special. I just hope that an over zealous producer or engineer doesn’t autotune or pitch correct that out of her recordings and make her voice lose its uniqueness and sound like everyone else. I don’t care if “everyone does it”. The thing is, everyone doesn’t need it.
