Well, Bill Burr pretty much has a famous bit about exactly that. One of my favorite Burr bits.
apperantly it didnt get traction amongst the sportnerds. THis is just an assumption, but i dont think Dan is that into sports.

I looked up the voice of Mr Meseeks because I thought it was uncannily like a Bill Burr voice.
Bill Burr rarely even forms sentences that don't have some sort of humor in them. He's always on without even trying it's awesome.

Okay, so Bill and Dan were clearly not the best match, but they both seemed to respect each others' space, which made their own "segments" enjoyable enough, and their interactions were endurable. They both got to were they they are by bringing out the funniest things in themselves and as a fan of both, I really enjoyed this podcast.

I love Dan Harmon's face while the other guys are going on about baseball shit, before he chimes in with the outside-man question. I've seen few doughnuts more glazed over than his eyes.
It's so fucking cool and entertaining to see Bill burr encounter a person he doesn't know or has no relationship with during a podcast. He challenges them occasionally, throws jokes their way and see's how they take it. He doesn't hold back or let them get away with bullshit. Love that.

I love how different they are. Brain and brawn, Dan has so much head knowledge and can break everything down into psychoanalytical categories and Bill just has raw thoughts and feelings, all stream of consciousness.

Community was the best comedy sitcom the last 10 years.
That's not saying much, even if it was true.
it is true and television is the only good form of media nowadays. It's hard to find a good comedy film but not hard to find a half decent dark comedy tv show. Community is most likely too smart for most audiences though.
It's actually saying a lot. Past decade has been amazing.

I love seeing Dan with his arms crossed, I can hear his internal dialogue while they're chatting about movies and horror (ultimately writing). Good times! Harmon's talking about WWII was awesome. Fun group.

Herp All Day kind of justin had the voices and it's sort of an idea of what the characters we're going to be Dan Harmon came in pretty much help straighten everything out. And both of them together created one of the best animation shows of Our Generation.
