    I look at you welding Terry and you make it look so easy but I must tell you the set-up for the first plates...even I didn`t like it. My arm got tired just looking at you....Well done my friend....CHEERS

      That's what I felt. My old arms don't like that anymore. 😂

    One thing I have learned from watching you Terry, is the importance of proper jigs for welding efficiently. Thanks for sharing your expertise.

    Terry the news keeps saying we're booming but everyone I talk to says it's slow , ya think the news might be full of sh*t😅 I went to my steel store and soon found out what I bought for $20 in 2019 is $75 and told I should grab it before it goes higher 😬

      I just talked to an oil trader and he said they won't drill for new oil because of Biden. Oil is twice as much as it was in 2019 but steel and labor are triple. They can't afford to drill. Pipe for casing is even more than that and has to come from China.

    I usually do edge welds, lay it flat on the table and stick a block under to raise it up an inch or so then turn my torch sideways between my fingers and slide my hand across the table, got a wheelie seat off a tool truck gets me down low enough to be comfortable

    that kinda looks like the clamp thing they use when pulling water well pipes they lock the pipe at every joint so they can unscrew the sections of pipe.

    • @txsviking
      @txsviking  Před 2 lety

    Nice job as always Terry, Mild Steel is just as good as any to weld except for the smoke and mill scale.I like how you have the fan pulling the smoke and not the shielding gas...many years of experience there boy...I can add to your welder shirt sayings but this is a family show lol!👍👍
