- A Del Paso Heights man says he's angry at some of his neighbors who continue to spray paint graffiti on his fence. He says it's happened for a year and things have taken a violent turn in the last two weeks.
Gui Chase moved into the Del Paso Heights area five years ago looking for a place where he could retire, but his neighborhood has seen its share of graffiti over the last year. It also keeps popping up on his own fence. He says he calls the police but gets transferred to 311.
"They came up and put signs along this fence, so there's like a $1,000 fine for leaving graffiti or vandalism, something like that. Within a couple of days, every single sign was tagged," said Chase.

Individuals have so much potential. Find out why you’re here. It’s not to be in a gang or to clean up defaced property ruined by badly raised throwaways. They bring down their own neighborhood. Trust soon that home prices are about to go up there eventually because North Sacramento is in high demand due to all the new homes and neighborhoods being built there. When gentrification comes the people that been there messing it up are gonna wish they took care of their neighborhood cause they won't be there any longer.

I think he should done a little research into the crime statistics for Del Paso Heights, before considering to retire there....that area has one of the highest crime rates in the USA.

I thought the EXACT same thing DPH has been this way since the 90s. A simple search would of shown you.
Not excusing this behavior but unfortunately the retired man is just new it happens to residents on the daily.

Don’t confuse this graffiti with the graffiti of a tagger. These are street gang tags. No graffiti artist would assault and leave a man in the street unconscious.

The guy should just ignore the warnings and fines like everyone does in DPH. The house I bought in DPH the previous owner never paid his property tax and owned the city $30k. I would install a sprinkler system so anyone near the fence will get sprayed with colored water.
And scoot the fence back so its not right at the street so they are trespassing if they approach the fence. Isn't that fence too high? Can't have solid fence over 4ft in the city.
