What if we haven't encountered aliens because our part of the universe is just the aliens' the equivilant of a wild life reservation?

Operative literally me. :’)
I am a creature of the night and it is difficult to get to sleep early enough to get enough sleep. When I do get to sleep early for me, I wake up and am up for a few hours. So annoying. I put ASMR on and it helps. I fell to sleep after the one with the ocean and currents. Love astronomy and watch a lot of science discussions, panels with Brian Greene, Neil Degrasse Tyson. Just saw this and it is very soothing and hope I sleep soon. Thanks for your thoughtful ASMR.

After developing a bit of immunity to asmr. I thought that my insomnia would never end.
After watching the full video I slept like a log - dreaming of space.
Nature wastes very little and evolution is a strong force. To me it would be inconceivable that there would be no other conscious life or simpler life forms out there in this vast universe.
Your telling and description of "The Golden Record" was one of the most beautiful and emotional things I've ever listened to. I've followed the Voyager probes journey and have always known about the record. Thank you for telling about one of humanity's finer moments with the inspiration and awe it deserves.
It included one of the greatest pianists of all time playing the music of one of the greatest composers of all time - Glenn Gould playing Bach's Goldberg Variations. You don't get much better than that

Listening to these facts always makes me cry. Just because of how beautiful and precious life is. And hows there's so much out there that we don't know about. Like, the only way I feel comfortable dying now is being sucked into a black hole or taking off a space suit inside of a supernova.

Sorry but black holes don't explode, it has been theoricized that they could evaporate but even then the universe just isn't old enough for a black hole to have evaporated yet (it would be something of a goggle year before a black hole completely evaporated)

Your channel and Maria's (Gentlewhispering) are my go-to ASMR channels. They complement each other nicely: Maria has made her ASMR productions into a fine art (if you go for pure ASMR-tingles) and your channel satisfies my general curiosity for knowledge, be it history, physics, astronomy, engineering... Your voice is good, but either the (lesser quality?) mic is too close or it is just less refined than Maria's. There was a French guy with a similar approach to ASMR, but I think he stopped (or I just stopped watching). His texts and voice, strong accent not withstanding, are pretty good, but not as in-depth ( 'cause of his penchant for picture books?). May your channel live long and prosper!

@@LetsFindOut1 put +1db on the 8000-20,000hz range and -2db in the 250-300 range so it removes the boxy sound.
