[Touhou 3] Reincarnation (Remastered)

After the terror in SoEW, Mima’s 2nd Theme, Reincarnation, has come to settle as a normal vengeful spirit in Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream.
Although not as fast and intense as her other theme, this theme however is enough to describe it as bouncy and catchy in a sense. Composition-wise, it has its structure and a way to change keys in the different fashion. This theme, like Complete Darkness, has gotten its attention and recognition thus memorable for some who have listened to this theme.
In terms of remastering, the instrumentation is certainly what made it a bit tricky to decipher. The lead instrument can be anything but chosen to be brass for a reason. The chord progression in the climax changed a bit to show variation as well as giving countermelody to the before the climax.
It’s a theme known by fans and it’s memorable for that reason.

Although it's Mima's 3rd theme (not 2nd) since her first one is the one she shares with Yuugenmagan in HRtP: Angel's Legend, and her 2nd theme being SoEW's Complete Darkness, it's a very good arrangement ^^

I love seeing arranges/remasters of this track; it's one of very few of ZUN's tracks in which I actually dislike the original because of the instruments used in it, but remasters always do it justice.
I'm not sure if the original had an equivalent, but I'm obsessed with those horns (I think?) in the background around 0:34 and 3:15. Those four echoing notes sound so good. Keep up the great work!

I hated it when I faced Mima in the first battles in PoDD since I really liked her theme, and the battle ended so fast since stages scalate, so I would just stare in the score screen just to listen it 😂
