  • Is it possible to successfully manage a tight schedule including highly demanding midwifery studies and multi-project research?
Follow Wanda Kwiatkowska, an ambitious young student and researcher involved in several scientific projects related to, among others, her future profession - midwifery. Her current project is, however, the most unique as it attempts to evaluate female sexual function after childbirth.
The project’s preliminary findings indicate that the child-feeding method has a profound impact on the women’s sexual function. It turns out that women who decide to stop breast feeding are often motivated by their sexual life-oriented reasons. As such, the topic itself requires special attention on the part of a medical professional. Its thorough analysis may bring undeniable health benefits to the women who chose to feed naturally.
What makes this study so special is that there is a fact a low rate of publications on women’s sexual functioning after childbirth. Moreover, it focuses and connects two important issues -breast feeding and post-natal body esteem.
Discover how passion and great mentorship pave the way for science, innovation and personal growth.
