- TODAY I visit Old Delhi in India for my first impressions 🇮🇳 I started off by going to the Red Fort and then made my way through the chaos of Chandni Chowk. I also tried lassi for the first time and ended with some fine dining (first time eating tandoori chicken).

Red Fort is really majestic and a special building!
Zane, you are the most walking CZcamsr I have ever seen. I love watching you walk!
If you wear contact lenses when going out, I think you'd better bring artificial tears or sunglasses with you, choose one!
The electrical cables in India is the most complicated I have ever seen. I really admire their electricians!
Indian desserts fascinate me, every one of them looks delicious!
This is the first time I have seen Tandoori Chicken, it looks rich and must be delicious!
Although Old Delhi has a nostalgic feel to it, I love the atmosphere and I could spend the whole day shopping there!
Thank you very much for sharing, I like you very much, I hope you reach 100,000 subscriptions soon! 👍😍🙌

Turkik or Mughalai sweets.
As a woman solo traveler, from what I witnessed your videos in India , I don’t think it’s safe to explore there alone.
Foreigners don't know Why Old Delhi is Chaotic What is the reason behind this
Old Delhi is full of whole Sala markets and shopkeepers load their goods into transportation
This is the biggest reason
Why would u want to go into the heart of a 1000 year old city old bazaars
India is not safe for accompanied woman let alone solo travelers. Don't do it.
This place is actually scary but nobody is going to harm you. Yes should be alert of pickpocketing. Otherwise it is the heaven for street food and cheap shopping.

Enjoyed the Korean Video!
Thank you!
Oh my God! 😮 I can't believe the two countries are on the same earth.
God bless this country.🙏
As safe as Cambodia
Korea is a pea compared to India with it vast population. Even China was worse few years back. Now what should be the crowd you expect in a historical wholesale hub where people from the whole country comes here for shopping. Do one thing to understand it see the size and population of your country and compare with any one of our big state like U.P or Maharashtra or West Bengal. After that counter me😊And if you are from Korea don't waste your time compare with some smaller state instead.
The best way to travel to India is to watch CZcams ^-^;;
noooo its just very different when u see it in person
@@utkarshkumar7154 Yes, even worse in person... Everyone I know who's ever been there told me so
@@sblue3964 hehehe all the best
I have several friends who have traveled India and absolutely loved it but I personally would find it way too stressful to ever dare... 😅
@@sblue3964 yes if ur a budget traveler, but theres a whole different world of luxury and extravagance for people who can afford it...
Thanks for taking me along on your adventure. I would never be brave enough to go to India on my own. Love your videos.
You think India is scary because you ignore the diversity
of India, unlike many foreigners who want to explore India beyond the stereotypical places like Varanasi, Agra, Mumbai and Delhi which represent only 15% of the country.
You people with a malicious, racist mindset love to judge a huge, diverse country with limited knowledge there are people who want to explore the beautiful, picturesque Himalayan regions of Northwestern India, the natural paradise of Northeast India which is culturally and racially exactly the same as East Asia and also the green, clean tropics with wonderful plateaus , historical Jewish and European towns and amazing blue mountains with coffee plantations in Southern India. They want to see the remnants of a long lost ancient civilization via the ruins of Hampi, Ellora Caves, Ajanta Caves Temples and experience the immense natural biodiversity of India with its snow capped mountains, mangrove forest, plateaus, beautiful sea coasts and the vast desert lying in the western side of India.
Seriously, I can bet you haven't seen the entire of India. If you had you wouldn't have made such comments. Absolutely disgusting!
I am sure if it comes to any other country in the world, you people will visit literally all the places in that country but only when it is India, you will focus on Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai, Taj Mahal that's entire India for you racists.
I would also never be brave to go to South Europe, America. No wonder someone shoots or loots me in one of those numerous cities in the States.
Love your videos, the way you portray each country in an unembellished manner makes me feel like I'm the one traveling right now lol
The amount of honking is unbelievable.

I love how authentic your vids are zane, especially with the indian vlogs I mostly see other youtuber only showing tourist locations and heavily editing their experience, but your vids actually show what would happen to most tourist. Even though I never been to india, the last couple vids about india are just hilarious
Thank you 🙏

Idk what it is with your videos but somehow to make them so intimate that at times I feel I'm traveling with you. Stay safe and keep up the great videos.
Zane: Why do you always wear a black t-shirt? Wouldn't a light-colored shirt be better to help you cool off on hot sunny days?
No clue
Great video Zane. Nice to see India in this way and I enjoyed your "luxury and quiet" compensation meal in that restaurant. Enjoy the chaos and don't be afraid to be firm. Visit The Netherlands sometime!
Amazing country, never forgotten. Real beauty, amazing people. True civilisation
zane, man i'm glad you're visiting india, make sure that you come here to southern part of india, be careful wherever you go bro, good day!
So glad youtube brought me to your videos. Love your vlogging style, it kind of reminds me of Kurt Caz for how raw and down to earth your travels are. Thanks for bringing us along!
Finally, in India! Welcome🎉
Amazing stuff. I admire your great travels.
Gracias por tu recorrido,no había visto INDiA en estas zonas, eres muy valiente
Red Fort deserves a guided tour. It's part of the old walled fort city Shahjahanabad. Chandni chowk was the residential part of the city, oldest inhabited city, of the commoners or citizen outside the fort...
Once known as the richest fort palace of the East, it was looted multiple times by Persian invaders. It's fame became the nemesis.
This fort was the seat of power till the British took over.
Each building and palace has many stories related to the Mughal taste of art, their connection with Mongolia and the rest of India...that will take minimum 1 to 1.5 hours to view.
Apart from that it has great artistic and architectural value as one of the finest forts in India. It's the only one which had a man made stream running through the palaces.
Alternatively one can attend the light and show in the evening.
The moment you put whole pickle in your mouth i was like OOPS lol, american pickle and indian pickle are totally different, indian pickle is very strong in flavor and is eaten in small quantities along with food, never as a whole!
this clip is like the list of what I find most annoying in travel and nightmares: the hagglers, the nonstop honking, the heat, the dirty smelly streets, the non-stop fear of pickpockets and being lied to by scammers, getting lost in overcrowded places, fear of poor hygene in food stalls, people forcing themselves on to travellers, crazy traffic accident prone driving, huge stray dogs...
I've never seen zane this nervous and not happy in his vlogs, he just looks pissed since he landed in india lol
Lol jeeted
Pickpocketers? Wait until Zane visits England, France or Italy. Those countries will put India to shame.
33:37 "cheese bread"
😂. That's called naan. It's baked in a tandoor, and there is absolutely no cheese.
@@iu2 Yeah, i kind of thought if you had decided to travel to India you would know what Naan was!
The concept of pickle is to just slightly take a pinch with every bite of kulcha or paratha or rice whatever you’re having it with …. Not having that chunk of lemon pickle on its own 😂
Dad was not amused 😂 great video Zane
Really enjoying following your travels...I have such a desire to travel but unable to so this takes me right there and i dont even have to leave my living room so thank you
Thank you 🙏
Hey Zane , Chandni chowk is the biggest whole sale market in Asia hence traders from around the country come to buy goods in bulk that's the reason its so crowded. Also you could have visited Omaxe Chandni Chowk which is the newest mall out there in old Delhi and also could have escaped the heat as well.
yiwu?
Amazing❤😊😊 love your videos zane
Are you torturing your ears? The sound of the horn is terrible.
Wow what an interesting place!
I've never seen a more pragmatic travel vlogger till now and an american at that (no offense but americans tend to be quite loud ^ ^). You're so chill that its refreshing.
i feel glad whenever fans come to you, its the recognition u deserve 😂
Go on the guided walking tours… I know they are expensive than if you bargain with a rickshaw but it’s definitely better if you actually want to discover all the nooks and crannies… even the early morning cycling tour is not a bad idea if you are not scared of Indian driving 😂
Naan Bread. Looks amazing. Buen appetit.
Has many CZcamsrs have said, India is not for beginners. But I'm glad you're putting yourself out there man. It's quite the experience and any travelling CZcamsr should go to India at least once. Anyway, take care of yourself and be careful out there.
Anything for views

Hi Zane, love your videos. You being in Delhi reminds me of my first time almost 30 years ago, and how I was constantly trying to be polite, but you have to follow the 3 rule plan
1. nahin dhanyavaad ( no thanks )
2. maine nahin dhanyavaad kaha ( I said no thanks )
3. dekho mere dost, maine nahin kaha, ab mujhe akela chhod do ( look my friend I said no, now leave me alone )
Obviously these are for the pushy people and not for the many genuinely friendly and helpful Indians
At 8:53 he means UP = Uttar Pradesh it's a state in India whose capital is lucknow. Come visit Lucknow too.

India is not for beginners especially Delhi. Ask every Indian which city is the most unlivable, hated, chaotic, unsafe, polluted, stressful and dirty and they will mostly likely say Delhi. Yes we do not like our capital city because of the local and international bad rep (Almost everyone except Delhites would probably agree here). I myself don't like that place since it destroys India's reputation by a lot and what amazes me is that it is literally the starting point of most foreign travelers which is sad since there so many other better cities and places out there in the country.
old Delhi was literally built since the 1500's
You can enjoy Chandni Chowk when you know the deep rooted history and a guide can show you the specific houses and lanes which have historic references.
Ppl don't go there mucg for travelling... they generally go for historic or food walks... or for shopping and trading. But in most cases you cannot buy retail... it has to be wholesale. Like 100 pieces or none. 😊
After the metro connection some shops have started selling in small quantities.
Extreme summer is not a good time to visit Delhi.
50% delhi ppl haven't been to old Delhi and most Indians living outside Delhi have never been there.
No doubt some of the food shops are unique as they are very old and traditional. For eg. The parantha shops. Foodies go there to eat only that kind of food.
And there are vegetarian and non-veg lanes...😊
They were opened during British times . Assl1ckkers were given .
Great Travels🤍🕉️
I thoroughly enjoyed the video. You are kind, smart, funny and down to earth. You should be an ambassador for the US. I am Canadian and always a fan for nice genuine Americans who appreciate other folks around the world. You have a fan. FYI - those pickles are meant to be consumed bits and pieces in a morsel. I would have died what you just did. Live and learn and you being super young, I think this trip to India will be a good learning experience and also a life experience. Just be street smart and you will be fine.
We have big population but we are humble loving people
Delhi is no place to be traveling dude.. it's the most polluted city of india i find even hard to breathe there🙃.. if you want to see real India go to north india like himachal pradesh (shimla , manali, dharamshala, Dalhousie,) jammu & kashmir ( heaven on earth) ladakh ( the cold desert) nainital, mussoorie, landour( in uttarakhand State) goa, andman nicobar and in Rajasthan go to Udaipur
Red fort is was built by the same Ruler who built Taj Mahal. It was the place from where Mughals ruled the whole country till Britishers were able to colonize India. On Independence day the Prime minister hoists the National flag there and gives a speech for the countrymen.
You musn't eat the pickle like that 😄it was cool though. Pickle is to be savored throughout the meal in small quantities with your freshly cooked bread! There's 100s of different pickles in India, different in different regions. The most common ones are: green mango, lemon(which is what i felt you ate, it looked yellowish covered in all the spices and juices), green chilli pickle, carrot pickle, garlic pickle, etc etc.
Man it is so freaking loud and obnoxious there, the beeping, people hollering at you and when you ask for a simple "point which way" they start yapping your ear off.. it's a bit much. I hope you can go back to Vietnam and show more of that country, as it seems like a super chill bang for your buck and expat friendly.
Really?
There are places in India 1000000 times better than Vietnam, I can bet on it.
Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai hardly represents even 20% of India.
What about Zane going to Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Darjeeling, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh,Goa, Kerala, Vizag, Ooty, Munnar Rishikesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshwadeep Islands, huh?
I don't think these places will look like Delhi.

Please continue to show us the reality of where you are. I would be afraid to go where that tunnel was. I don't think I would be able to go there as a single, senior woman.
Subways in America are as worse.
Moreover Delhi is hardly a developed city in India. Go to southern India and see how different the tunnels are
Women shouldn't go especially alone anywhere in the country. Forget senior women. It's absolutely no no .
you ate whole pickle and onion ... even i am not that crazy lol
Hi Zane!
Welcome to India❤
Pickle is not supposed to eat raw and whole....just little bit of pickle with bread (like tap bread on pickle)...you hv to make a bite....this is not the right way to eat Indian food...nxt time please ask waiter to help you...only thn you will get the real taste...
Thanks for the tips!

Delhi and kolkata are places where you have to go through to get to other designations.
So many scamsters in Rome etc.
Lassi is a cheap but healthy drink go for it. Not more than a euro you'll get a large glass.
Indian pickles should be eaten with roti / rice etc... They are tooooo spicy
It's not cheap for the locals
Font wear black it attracts heat more 👍🏼
Hey bro if you're coming to Arunachal Pradesh Ziro let me know..
There is a reason the alleys of the area are narrow. The purpose was to keep the invaders at bay. Each street had big gates that could be closed and ppl could escape through the roofs.
Now it's the largest wholesale market of Asia... and since the beginning it has marked each lane for one item. Perfumes, spices, silver, gems and jewellery, rice, paper, etc... each lane deals with only one specific item.
This is the only place where multiple communities live cheek by jowl for centuries with zero conflict.
Some of the traders are extremely rich and they converted their homes to godowns and shifted residence to posh localities. You will find many abandoned and dilapidated homes.
The wires hang outside because most houses are too delicate and some are protected by ASI... thus drilling or breaking can cause damage.
Hey bro you know you can visit many great places in india like in the Himalayas to beat the unbearable heat. Delhi is good but kind of repetitive.
Please Visit Shimla, Arunachal Pradesh, Darjeeling, Meghalaya, North East India....You find Real India

Zane, thanks for sharing your video but you should be mindful not to be clumsy with your commentary. When walking past a Gurdwara which is a place of worship for Sikhs, you called it a Mosque which is a place of worship for Muslims. The videos should inform and educate and if you do not know, just say, it’s a place of worship but I don’t know which religion. Even better, why not learn by asking someone. I don’t mean to offend by my commentary but travel is about learning and exploring and experiencing different things.

India is my favorite country.
I went to India as a backpacker 33 years ago, and India hasn't changed at all. The towns are not clean, but they are lively and the people are very kind.
33 years ago in India, it was normal to have a few flies in the food.
I think it has become a little cleaner now.
I want to go to India again!
Thank you Zain!
I guess you haven't been to Northeast India, Northwest India or far South India before commenting on cleanliness.
Really ?! Good lie story more pls ...
You haven't been India in 33 years also ..
It's still there, all same but now you also have clean places . From 5 star complexes food gallery to zero star roadside food and everything in same locality. You can still find flies in the food in the roadside.
My impressions as an outsider is that Delhi is extremely polluted and dirty, noisy, but very English friendly. Don't get scammed like how you did in Dominican Republic, follow up question. What every happened to the money you lost from that guy whom you bought baby formula at the grocery store in DR?
Your impressions are correct
Even No Indian also will argue on this.. Sadly most of western population and tourists what they know of India is just the golden triangle.. Which even Domestic tourist population tries to avoid.. These are overpopulated crowded polluted cities... 😂😂 People don't visit North east India much.. You won't believe if it's the same country.. Also Go explore Himalayas or South India Western Ghats.. Now if you come to explore filth India will give you that in abundance as well as if you want to explore mesmerizing natural beauty landscapes nature India Will also give that in abundance.. The choice is entirely on the tourists and the individual planning the tour
