  • TODAY I visit Old Delhi in India for my first impressions 🇮🇳 I started off by going to the Red Fort and then made my way through the chaos of Chandni Chowk. I also tried lassi for the first time and ended with some fine dining (first time eating tandoori chicken).

Red Fort is really majestic and a special building!
Zane, you are the most walking CZcamsr I have ever seen. I love watching you walk!
If you wear contact lenses when going out, I think you'd better bring artificial tears or sunglasses with you, choose one!
The electrical cables in India is the most complicated I have ever seen. I really admire their electricians!
Indian desserts fascinate me, every one of them looks delicious!
This is the first time I have seen Tandoori Chicken, it looks rich and must be delicious!
Although Old Delhi has a nostalgic feel to it, I love the atmosphere and I could spend the whole day shopping there!
Thank you very much for sharing, I like you very much, I hope you reach 100,000 subscriptions soon! 👍😍🙌

Korea is a pea compared to India with it vast population. Even China was worse few years back. Now what should be the crowd you expect in a historical wholesale hub where people from the whole country comes here for shopping. Do one thing to understand it see the size and population of your country and compare with any one of our big state like U.P or Maharashtra or West Bengal. After that counter me😊And if you are from Korea don't waste your time compare with some smaller state instead.

You think India is scary because you ignore the diversity
of India, unlike many foreigners who want to explore India beyond the stereotypical places like Varanasi, Agra, Mumbai and Delhi which represent only 15% of the country.
You people with a malicious, racist mindset love to judge a huge, diverse country with limited knowledge there are people who want to explore the beautiful, picturesque Himalayan regions of Northwestern India, the natural paradise of Northeast India which is culturally and racially exactly the same as East Asia and also the green, clean tropics with wonderful plateaus , historical Jewish and European towns and amazing blue mountains with coffee plantations in Southern India. They want to see the remnants of a long lost ancient civilization via the ruins of Hampi, Ellora Caves, Ajanta Caves Temples and experience the immense natural biodiversity of India with its snow capped mountains, mangrove forest, plateaus, beautiful sea coasts and the vast desert lying in the western side of India.
Seriously, I can bet you haven't seen the entire of India. If you had you wouldn't have made such comments. Absolutely disgusting!
I am sure if it comes to any other country in the world, you people will visit literally all the places in that country but only when it is India, you will focus on Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai, Taj Mahal that's entire India for you racists.
I would also never be brave to go to South Europe, America. No wonder someone shoots or loots me in one of those numerous cities in the States.

Red Fort deserves a guided tour. It's part of the old walled fort city Shahjahanabad. Chandni chowk was the residential part of the city, oldest inhabited city, of the commoners or citizen outside the fort...
Once known as the richest fort palace of the East, it was looted multiple times by Persian invaders. It's fame became the nemesis.
This fort was the seat of power till the British took over.
Each building and palace has many stories related to the Mughal taste of art, their connection with Mongolia and the rest of India...that will take minimum 1 to 1.5 hours to view.
Apart from that it has great artistic and architectural value as one of the finest forts in India. It's the only one which had a man made stream running through the palaces.
Alternatively one can attend the light and show in the evening.

India is not for beginners especially Delhi. Ask every Indian which city is the most unlivable, hated, chaotic, unsafe, polluted, stressful and dirty and they will mostly likely say Delhi. Yes we do not like our capital city because of the local and international bad rep (Almost everyone except Delhites would probably agree here). I myself don't like that place since it destroys India's reputation by a lot and what amazes me is that it is literally the starting point of most foreign travelers which is sad since there so many other better cities and places out there in the country.

You can enjoy Chandni Chowk when you know the deep rooted history and a guide can show you the specific houses and lanes which have historic references.
Ppl don't go there mucg for travelling... they generally go for historic or food walks... or for shopping and trading. But in most cases you cannot buy retail... it has to be wholesale. Like 100 pieces or none. 😊
After the metro connection some shops have started selling in small quantities.
Extreme summer is not a good time to visit Delhi.
50% delhi ppl haven't been to old Delhi and most Indians living outside Delhi have never been there.
No doubt some of the food shops are unique as they are very old and traditional. For eg. The parantha shops. Foodies go there to eat only that kind of food.
And there are vegetarian and non-veg lanes...😊

You musn't eat the pickle like that 😄it was cool though. Pickle is to be savored throughout the meal in small quantities with your freshly cooked bread! There's 100s of different pickles in India, different in different regions. The most common ones are: green mango, lemon(which is what i felt you ate, it looked yellowish covered in all the spices and juices), green chilli pickle, carrot pickle, garlic pickle, etc etc.

Man it is so freaking loud and obnoxious there, the beeping, people hollering at you and when you ask for a simple "point which way" they start yapping your ear off.. it's a bit much. I hope you can go back to Vietnam and show more of that country, as it seems like a super chill bang for your buck and expat friendly.

Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai hardly represents even 20% of India.
What about Zane going to Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Darjeeling, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh,Goa, Kerala, Vizag, Ooty, Munnar Rishikesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshwadeep Islands, huh?
I don't think these places will look like Delhi.

There is a reason the alleys of the area are narrow. The purpose was to keep the invaders at bay. Each street had big gates that could be closed and ppl could escape through the roofs.
Now it's the largest wholesale market of Asia... and since the beginning it has marked each lane for one item. Perfumes, spices, silver, gems and jewellery, rice, paper, etc... each lane deals with only one specific item.
This is the only place where multiple communities live cheek by jowl for centuries with zero conflict.
Some of the traders are extremely rich and they converted their homes to godowns and shifted residence to posh localities. You will find many abandoned and dilapidated homes.
The wires hang outside because most houses are too delicate and some are protected by ASI... thus drilling or breaking can cause damage.

Zane, thanks for sharing your video but you should be mindful not to be clumsy with your commentary. When walking past a Gurdwara which is a place of worship for Sikhs, you called it a Mosque which is a place of worship for Muslims. The videos should inform and educate and if you do not know, just say, it’s a place of worship but I don’t know which religion. Even better, why not learn by asking someone. I don’t mean to offend by my commentary but travel is about learning and exploring and experiencing different things.

Delhi is literally one of the most underdeveloped and worst cities in India.
But there were no trains in this video. How could you say such things?
      Stop making rubbish comments.
You obviously have not seen all the metro stations in India.
Even Delhi has a far far far better metro than New York.
If you think I am joking see the video by youtuber Dabble and Travel, they are British travel vloggers who have a video on Delhi Metro.
      You ignore the diversity
of India, unlike many foreigners who want to explore India beyond the stereotypical places like Varanasi, Agra, Mumbai and Delhi which represent only 15% of the country.

Even No Indian also will argue on this.. Sadly most of western population and tourists what they know of India is just the golden triangle.. Which even Domestic tourist population tries to avoid.. These are overpopulated crowded polluted cities... 😂😂 People don't visit North east India much.. You won't believe if it's the same country.. Also Go explore Himalayas or South India Western Ghats.. Now if you come to explore filth India will give you that in abundance as well as if you want to explore mesmerizing natural beauty landscapes nature India Will also give that in abundance.. The choice is entirely on the tourists and the individual planning the tour
