If you don't have vanilla syrup you can boil a cup of water and a cup of sugar on medium heat and once all the sugar is dissolved you add 3 tsp of vanilla extract and voila vanilla syrup

I used maple syrup as a replacement for the vanilla syrup and it tastes great! Would recommend

I feel kinda proud because I learned how to make my own kind of caramel frap by myself with no sources on how Starbucks did it
I did it a bit different
I was in Pakistan when I made the drink now I’m in quarantine so we don’t have the normal whipped cream
We had a box of like dairy cream and I would add a caramel syrup so it would be sweet and some vanilla Eccles eve and mix with a spoon
Then just make. Normal coffe
To the bottom of the cup add ice and the drizzle on the sides of the cup
Add the coffe
And the dairy cream on top
And on top of that all brown sugar and more caramel syrup
I made a caramel Frappuccino without espresso.
It was very Ah-mazingg

Um I feel like I should warn you do not use hot coffee 😂😂 it was so liquid but I fixed it with a little more ice 👍
I have a frappe maker that brews the coffee directly into the blender pitcher. So yes, you can use hot coffee. But you're right, if you want a thicker texture, either use cooled/cold coffee or more ice. Xanthan gum helps as well.

You need to add a 1/4 teaspoon of xanthan gum to thicken it also add a little more coffee
