This man is nothing compared with Maldini, Cannavaro and Baresi to name a few. He isn’t any legends. He is in the 2nd tier of Italian defenders together with the likes of Iuliano, Bergomi, Bennarivo and Materazzi among others; good but that is all.

Merih is good, but Serie A had the best defenders in the past. Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro, Thuram, Cafu, Baressi, Zambrotta ... so, we're ok, but not impressed.
