    Was lucky to grow up in this era. The passion, the tension and the loyalty to the colors. Not playing football anymore but the passion still carries on, even on the joystick with my pals on Playstation lol.

    The only thing I liked better was the big one size fits all Jerseys. From 2000-2008, kits were the best but now they’re ridiculously tight. I don’t want to see the outline of every player’s body.

    Back then every team had at least one absolute baller who wasn't afraid to do his own thing on the pitch. Now days everyone moves to a bigger club after one good season and are forced to play in a system or a certain way which doesn't exactly suit their playstyle.

      Its about Fifa who softened the rules in order to protect their cash cows, the attacking player.
      These player attract new fans to the game which bring fresh money Into the System. Thats why its Not favorable if these player get injured seriously.
      Big clubs want to make success predictable in order to earn more money. Thats why player get restricted by coaches and club and thats why coaches in topclubs dont last long.
      So overall he is right

    Today we have Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo that are above 100 with long careers.
    Good players are around 80.
    The average players are 60.
    In 2000 we had Ronaldo and Zidane over 100. But Ronaldo got short top-level career because of injuries, defenders were far more rude.
    Good players were around 85.
    Average top-league players were 75.
    60 players were in the second league.

    I feel like the issue today is that the "average or below average players" are alot better now. Last dribble I remember in a top game was salah vs city n that was time ago.

    Now players are playing only for paycheck and to gain instagram followers that's all and mark my words after messi and CR7 retires football will die . The passion is ending and there is no intensity now it's all about who is better who is scoring we are only looking for stats not the beauty everyone is only looking at trophy cabinet if he is not having world cup then he has achieved nothing in 2000s people watch football to enjoy and not for statistics

    2000s= flair and individual skill (eg Ronaldinho and Zizou)
    2010s= team systems (tiki taka and gegenpressing)
    2020s= athleticism and power (eg Bellingham, Mbappe and Haaland are the biggest stars)
