This video was excellent. It gave me the nerve to tackle the carburetor rebuild on my own and save a bunch of $$$.
    Thanks.

What a pain getting one of these things running..,
Two winters, with fuel left IN THE TANK. No problems. Then the third winter it decided to not rev. It took quite a while to figure out the whole problem.
Did all the "usual" maintenance tasks. CLean air filter, clean gas filter, clean exhaust spark arrestor. No good.
Carburetor Rebuild Kit. Partial success. The machine still bogs down when going past 50% throttle. After thinking about it, and viewing a video on how these venturi carbs work, I decided that one or more ports are clogged.
The ultimate cure was SEA FOAM, Marvel Miracle oil, and Husqvarna recommended fuel. Added 1 ounce of each to the gas (about a quart from the Husqvarna can)
At half throttle I was able to get my work done AND heat up the machine very hot. After running, pull out the fuel filter and drop it into a container of SEA FOAM and run it on HIGH throttle until the engine dies from lack of pure fuel.
Let it sit overnight. Fire it back up on gas in the morning. Several days of this, and it runs like a dream, all the way to full throttle.
A little trick to get it up in RPM is to take it as high as it will go before bogging down and "feathering" the throttle. This creates a dynamic in the carb that fills up all the chambers and keeps fuel flowing into the jets. While it is running at high RPM, it is flowing more cleaner through and dissolving gunk in the carb.
There may still be some gunk in the carb, but hopefully it should clear up if I SEA FOAM it every time I put it away..,
It took some work, but I didn't have to pay a shop for it.., :)

@@robertsuckfiel5716 Finally..I fixed mine..it's kinda sad...mine would run for 3 minutes then just bog down & stop...I replaced carb, fuel filter, gas lines, plug, air filter, cleaned gas tank & everything.....then I tried a different gas cap from my other hand held blower......ran PERFECT!...can't believe it was the gas cap...lol

First time carburetor rebuild experience, successful due to this most excellent instructional video. Thank you! My model, manufactured in 2014 however does not have the brass jet with the O ring. Why is that?

Mine didn't have the removable jet

At 3 minutes you show removing a main jet. My k21-wya doesn't have that removable jet, it's just blank there. Is there any concern with this?
