The LOSAT indeed looks like an interesting vehicle. Also, about the VIDAR, it should be at least IMO 8.7, or maybe lower the BR of the Auf F1 to 6.7
You could do Losat and T114 as a Gremlin double feature.

Sometimes i just ran over speed bumps because those things gave me headache if i take them slow and some retard decided to build them really huge and there are like 50 of them on my usual commuting route.
Gaijin: Raise BR of every 7.7 to give breathing room to WW2.

It would be worth buying if it was at 11.7. I was using it at 10.3 and was getting at least 2-3 kills per death minimum.

But the Type 75, 2S3M, Rhino, Bandkanon and AuF1 all exist at the 6.3-7.7ish bracket. The VIDAR seems to be an easier to use howitzer, should it really be higher up?
@@StarkRaven59 Over all the other SPGs listed, VIDAR has all of the vital systems to make it truly work: good mobility, laser rangefinder, thermal and good reload. I think the muzzle velocity is also the highest of all of them, but the LRF already trivializes aiming at any distance.
The question of "Why would a howitzer need a laser rangefinder anyway?" is quite simple. Norway specifically wanted their new SPG to have direct-fire capabilities. As such the K9 Thunders delivered to the Norwegian Army are (or were, at the time) the only K9's equipped with a dedicated direct-fire aiming module/FCS
Same for Polish K9PL, direct fire was a requirement during conversion. That was after Norwegian ones, though. But before Poles used to use AHS Krab (K9 chassis, British turret, Polish fire control system) and that one also had direct fire (they all went to Ukraine, though). Central European plains and all.

They have a heavy emphasis on multipurpose usage and diversity. They planned much like Finland did on irregular defense, a good idea for such a small population.
The American way of thinking is "Why add cost to an excellent artillery? You do not want to ever have to use it as an assault gun."
The way of smaller, smarter nations is "we only get a few of these and that's it, and it's 90% of the way to being a good assault gun too. Why not both?"
This is the same idea that lead Sweden to the now very well known Grippen!

All modern SPGs have laser range finders for direct fire. Including the already in-game japanese Type 75 SPH.
at 7:00 i was the ZSU that died a little later to the proxy, but i remember going past this m163 and seeing him be NUKED i was like, "OH SHIT HOLD ON"

seeing you break your transmission in the first minute reminded me of a few years back, when I detonated my leo1 while driving through a wooden fence on the south eastern spawn of Poland, next to the mill (yes, at a time the south spawn was still the best and they hadnt removed fences yet). The whole thing about WW2 fighting time traveler bullshit was merely a gaslight appeasement. They never actually addressed the issue. So much Cold War shit stayed within WW2 BR's. As soon as they pushed the 7.x peas around the plate for the desired quelling of dissent, they put in this update.

The funniest part about that picture at 0:33 is , the VIDAR get the French OE 155 F3 while the Auf1 get OE 155 56 (which iirc was already phased out by the time the Auf1 entered service).

Spookston's immunity to CAS is really getting better seeing that he survived two big-ass bombs in close proximity and only damaging his tank's external modules. I'm so proud and satisfied Spook hit the CAS with the proxy in his first shot

About the proxy rounds at 6:20, ive noticed that in this update it randomly gives you more shells when you deploy into battle.
I had the same issue and it gave me a good 20 extra hesh shells for no reason
There's a bug right now explained by OddBawz or JustinPlays that if you adjust your ammo count right now it instantly fills them
This happened to my panther when i spawned in I had full ammo compared to the 20 shots I had previously

At this point im just looking forward to gaijin adding my beloved Panzerhaubitze 2000 (pzh 2000) to the game. Its basically the VIDAR but german at this point so if they already add arty vehicles, add a real one.

Hey Spook, you should play the Semovente 75/46 M43. It's a deeply overshadowed italian tank destroyer which can deliver an heavy punch but it's deeply ignored the potential it has. I am not gonna surrender in proposing this.

That's a strategy, OFC they know the VIDAR should go like 8.7 or 9.0 at least, but they want a lot of purchasing as much as they can. Then they will make the vehicle up in BR. As we seen on A-10 and Su-25k

The VIDAR/K9 Thunder has a Laser Range Finder because the South Koreans think they might need to use it as direct fire support in certain scenarios such as clearing out a trench.
Our army is still traumatized from the experience from 1950 when they had to use their 105mm light howitzer and 57mm AT against North Korean T34-85 in direct fire missions. We have one of the most overblown artillery power in proportion to overall size of our armed forces but we still have that cornered little btich mentality so lots of boomers still believe we can't absolutely demolish N Korea if we wanted to
The Vidar Needs to go up but the fact oh how good spookston did at 10.3 just shows how this thing needs to go up 💀.
K9 is made for terrain like mountains, so it has fascinating maneuver abilities. I loooove that.

Attempt #21: KV-2 (ZiS-6). The gun one shots more or less whatever it pens, and can UFP a Panther. The armor is hit or miss, with it sometimes dying to a 75 Sherman, and sometimes bouncing a long 88. Mobility isn’t the best but can get you places decently fast. At least, as fast as a KV can go.
When shooting at KVs the pens feel hit and miss as well, more than most imo.
Earlier today I shot one of these things 4 times on different spots, with my centurion. first time facing one. One shot took out the turret crew, but then the next three bounced and he one shot me with his LRF.

Would it be possible for you to comment on the RP changes that they have introduced in the most recent patch? The stat-card changes have also introduced heavy RP gain nerfs, from my average 10k per game with premium to less than half that for the exact same score, time and activity. It seems counter-intuitive for what the whole tech-tree shortening was supposed to do. The grind is even worse than what it was before the changes to the tech trees.
You can often just use proxy in place of normal HE and get direct hits with it, the damage should be similar. Especially when you have a quick laser rangefinder and so won’t aim short. But this only works at medium range, within a hundred metres or so the fuse won’t be armed so it’s useless for cqc.

It's been a short time since the update dropped, and In a single 3 hour grind session, I killed 20 Vidars and only got killed by one once, and it was a trade. The T10A slaps Vidars as they struggle to kill you lmao. This one guy respawned in backup VIDARs 3 times, each time being yeeted by me, before he spawned in his last tank, that one Swedish 1.2 second reload 120mm at 3.7. This was the guy I traded with, so I was in a Shilka now, and I gunned him down. Also killed a premium SK60 in that same battle. It was hilarious making VIDAR players suffer, seeing as many of them don't even have a 7.7 lineup and relied on backups or just left after 1 death.
How are you surviving hits in the T-10A? I've been using the T-10M and it fells like no matter what they just instantly overpressure you.
T10M is practically immune too, I've killed so many of them at long range completely randomly it's insane.
@_solaris_4057 Practically the same vehicle, lol. T10A is slightly better since it is at 7.7, but it doesn't get APDS, Heat, or a 2 plane stabilizer. However, its gyro stabilizer is still really good.

I use the VIDAR mainly in my Swedish 10.0 Grind Deck, together with the CV 90105, Bandkannon, LVKV 9040C and BILL.

I also had that problem with ammo load changing mid-game. I didn't actually see it happen, so I have no idea why, but I noticed I had 15 HE rounds instead of 5 in my Sherman at some point. Encountered like five different new glitches on the first couple days of the update, so I'm not surprised at all. Gaijin always breaks some things inadvertently.

9:13 the Is4-m has a 30mm plate on top of the turret. Even the 75mm on the maus can overpressure the crew sometimes there.

the more i play this game, the more i realize 99% of players not only wouldnt know how to balance the brs of vehicles, but also confidently say that they would, great video!
I mean clearly Gaijin doesn't either. But I guess they just wanna pump out the sales before they move it up.
A lot of the players in the game don't know what balance is even if you explain it to them. Like how when you shoot a weak point on a Russian tank and the game just absorbs your shell. Blatant bias is just a skill issue. Or like the person I basically spent two days trying to explain the obj 279 being overpowered. His main argument being its a skill issue when the only few things that can kill it are heat, atgms, and pixel sniping it with any other shells. Along with saying is a skill issue that you can't kill it with any bombs.
There's also CAS players who in ground say it is a skill issue when you, playing a tank, can't kill a plane.

@@mote_vengador2832 The problem itself with Russian Bias doesn't lie purely in the tanks/aircraft. It's the mechanics around them. Like how Russian planes, even if they're made of wood, can just sneeze the fire out.
Russian tanks will just randomly eat shells. The drivers hatch on the t-34 being stronger than anything in the game at random.
Vehicles being put at blatantly lower tiers than they should be fighting because Russia shouldn't be allowed to lose in their eyes.
I would also like to point out that I am someone who played the Russian tree for a good while. I've started to branch out, but the point still stands.

8:08 I don't think it's the LRF, but I could be wrong. I noticed in test drive that the higher pen/velocity round has waaay worse grouping than the slightly lower pen/lower velocity M107[?] round. Maybe that was Gaijin's attempt at "balancing" the ease of sniping

Good to see im not the only one getting the ammo rack problem. I was in a sherman with 12 APHE and 3 HE then the match began and it gave me a full load, i was very confused.
Watching you suffer, even momentarily, in the VIDAR was cathartic. I had a dude on the enemy team get two separate nukes in back to back games at 8.7/8.3. I was 8.0 Brits, and had to watch as my team - and myself - were eaten alive.

It would be nice if we can click a spot on the map (similar to how we ping), and the gun elevates and turns towards it and you shoot like real life artillery. Well sure it would promote camping but it only applies to artillery vehicles. Basically giving another reason for LT to spot vehicles

About the ammo thing
I think Gaijin clasically made an oopsie (a bug) and sometimes it randomizes/mixes your ammo layout
same thing happened to me I just picked up my Jumbo in battle and noticed I had 25 APHE rounds instead of 30 I should have and on the other hand I had full ammount of APCR when I bring around 12
I also had the same issues of ammonia load not being what it should be a few days ago, that is very weird

Latest update seems to have a lot of ammunition load bugs. The Gepard for example will only get 80 rounds, no matter what ammo load out you pick. Was quite a surprise for me when I tried to counter some cas

( 8:49 ) With the last update, they remade the restock mechanics: now when you stand still in the base, the ammo keeps loading until the total ammo stowage of the tank isn't full, they do not stop at the amount you bring at the spawn...
In some cases you can even have more ammo than can fit in your tank lol
